Two references to Shakespeare within 23 posts. Also two to Tennessee Williams, one to Cervantes, one to Tennessee Ernie Ford and one to either a sausage maker or a doomed actor.

Not bad.

Whenever men use sport metaphor - I always use kitchen metaphor in return. It can mess with them while they try to figure out how to respond.

I like metaphors and tend towards the goofy and absurd, which amuses my children, especially my youngest.

My T can be quite gifted at metaphor, her most recent one stuck with me about the big picture of the T process-- she said that the client was like a solo musician and the T like the accompanist that followed the client's lead. If desired, an accompanist can offer feedback or find like-minded others to play along, or assist the soloist in finding new music or genres to shine in.

Don't armadillos get or carry leprosy? I would then go to Ben Hur.
