I did want the woman to understand what I was telling her.
She failed on a weekly basis. I changed what she was useful for - understanding was not the thing the woman could handle.

Well, yeah - I do want sympathy - but only if its real. If its deserved. I don't want him to show sympathy just because I want it. I want him to show sympathy if he feels genuinely sympathetic.
