So this happened.
My T often waits to reply to emails in session, due to my tendency to read in between the lines.
I had asked her a question I found difficult to ask but needed an answer to . ( I actually said "this is a difficult question to ask but I need answer")
T goes over the email and never addresses my question. When she is done I say "that's it?"
T "what else do you want to know?"
OK I asked the question by email so I wouldn't have to ask in person and be embarrassed. Plus she does this. She is very smart and also really dumb sometimes.
So instead of asking the question I knelt on the floor, pulled my sweatshirt hood over my head, and shouted " you are an intelligent woman! You CAN'T be that derpy. You just can't. You really have no idea what I am talking about????"
I could see her suddenly realize that she didn't answer the "big" question..yup she is that derpy..

OMG My ex had another turn but this time he rang his MHN as well. He was really agitated and kept saying he wants his family back. I was dropping the girls off from school and they were dragging him out of the car. I took the youngest home and don't know anything further. He has upset both the girls and I am so angry...Is this guy thick? It has been nearly 4 years since we separated.

Thank you, couch, for hearing me.

My child was so sick last night it actually scared me. Moms have to act fearless and like everything is going to be fine, but inside I was quaking and wondering why they left me in charge?! She's okay now, off to school fever-free and the faucets all dried up, thanks to some children's pepto and judicious use of Gatorade. I thought she might need IV fluids but I was wrong. I really don't mind being wrong about those kinds of things.

Happy Friday couch.

Here's the typewriter I was talking about the other day, the one that used to be my Grandpa's, that my brother rescued from our Mother's house and shipped to me before she could give it away. It has reawakened something deep inside of me, that has to do with my old dream of being a writer, and I've been doing more writing this week than I have in a long while. I'm going to give him a name, yes I feel like it's a "him", but I haven't decided on said name yet!

I'm glad she's ok. Sounds scary. I had one super-scary moment with my son when he was a baby and had croup really bad, his chest was actually sinking in while he was trying to breathe and I don't know how in the world I held it together long enough to get him to the hospital and not show HIM how scared I was. But he was fine after they did a breathing treatment thing and the next morning was his usual happy-baby self.
Thanks for this!

Hey couch, so far my slllllloooooooowwwwww taper off medication is going well. It's only been a couple days and I have a long way to go but my body needs a break from these heavy duty meds. They dont last long enough to be worth staying on.
Hope everyone is well.

Happy Friday couch.

Kids'll scare you silly. And then they'll be completely fine again, bouncing all over the place while you spend the next week trying to recover from the near heart attack

Thanks for the encouragement couchies! I'm having a pretty lousy day today, can't wait for it to be over. I need about 50 hours to work on my house this weekend, that should make me more than ready to head back here on Monday.

Have a good weekend!

Tonight my hubby and I are headed out on a date. Monday will be our 29th wedding anniversary, but Monday's are horrible for trying to go out so we're hitting the town tonight. Looking forward to dinner and a movie.

What type of law would client vs. therapist or visa-versa be classified under?
