Although as I do not drink very often, I am a bit buzzed. Dubonnet is not to trifled with - particularly when mixed with gin.
Worry not, I have absolutely no urge to contact a therapist - although the first one has said time and again that seeing me unreserved would be something she would be interested in. I deny her that. She has proven unworthy.

I alternate between feeling like i am in trouble, and thinking she is sitting there laughing at me right now.

I imagine her cackling and rubbing bony hands with bloodstained fingernails together as she says that...

Spices - salt, pepper, curries etc.
And, of course, a spiralizer.

So I just called the oral surgeon place that's going to extract my tooth tomorrow. The one that's too far gone for a root canal to be effective. I can't do sedation because it's too late in the day, they only do sedations in the morning because of the fasting rule. So I opted for nitrous or whatever it's called. Of course, my dumb insurance doesn't cover that. I have to pay $160 for it but I don't really care if it's going to help me get through it!!!! At least for the extraction they pay 80% so I shall be happy for that and not worry about the $160. I just want it over with.

Also as soon as I got home I took a deep breath and told h that I am going to see t on Saturday instead of waiting 2 weeks and I said don't worry I'm not asking for money I have the $ in my therapy account. He said "Ok, whatever you need to do." That was too easy. Now I am paranoid about that too.

Can I just say one more time that transference sucks? I can't even be glad h is ok with me going earlier than planned. And another lovely related thing happened. Driving home from work, I take the same road that I take to go to t's (I just turn off to come home sooner than where I turn to go to her house.) That made me think about her all over again and I started crying thinking about her being mad at me. Gah!! Part of me wishes now that she had never moved back here... I can't believe I just thought that.

On a positive note, I got caught up today at work on one of my several 'not in the job description' duties, the Survey reporting thing I do. I listen to the calls that members took the survey on, where they rated anything less than a perfect 5 and try to find rebuttal reasons. Also, one of the other supervisors asked me to let one of her reps y-jack with me to get some pointers on getting good Quality scores (I am a Quality superstar LOL this month I have 100% so far on the calls I've had scored. My monthly score is usually never below 98.5%.)

Sorry so long. I am feeling rambly.

Ok to distract myself from "fun with transference", I am now researching hummus recipes and then heading out for ingredients. I figure I'll have to eat something soft after tomorrow's "fun with tooth extraction", and hummus is soft, and I love it, so. Here I go.
Thanks for this!

to make it mush up rather than just stick at the bottom with the motor making horrible noises, it will probably need more liquid than usual for hummus - it will just be a bit thinner is my guess but if you do a search for blender hummus - it seems to be fine:

For some reason I can't stop Googling dubonnet. Apparently Nelson Rockefeller insisted that his hotel rooms always have Oreos and dubonnet.

Oh couch, I was just offered a job directing a home-based daycare that is run by the church/school that I used to work at, and my kids attend. This is an out if the blue offer didn't apply for it at all. It means a $3 an hour raise plus I set my own hours, it's right next to my kids school.

It all sounds good, but being the main boss is stressful, and I would have to worry about staffing, budgets, ny state daycare regulations and stuff. I don't have enough brain power to make this decision. I have only been at my current position for three months and I hate to leave as we've dealt with a lot of turn over. Help!!!
