Yep. I did appreciate him being honest with me about it though, I mean he could have just done the work and taken my money regardless, y'know? It's in the paperwork they had me sign before I went back that there's no guarantees. I've had teeth pulled before, so that scares me less, well as long as they knock me out. Years ago, before I got braces, I was sent to an oral surgeon to have 4 teeth pulled to make room for my wisdom teeth to come in. And they did all 4 at the same appointment, I was knocked out of course, but as I remember, the pain faded over a few days... and after I got the braces on and tightened the first time, that hurt more.

On my screen there are three dashes in the upper right corner. From the forum screen, hitting that brings up a "new topic" option. I've never used it before. . .

The puppy has been going bonkers racing around the living room. I wondered aloud if she might be on a sugar high, like a small child, from the ice cream I shared with her. H was all incredulous and said, you did not give the dog ice cream did you?? Me: ... Nooooo. ... No. Pup continues racing around barking hysterically.

P.S. Ice cream may cause hyperactivity in small pups, FYI.

It causes diarrhea in mine.
So I spend a fortune on frosty paws in the summertime.
And one of them loves, lurves even, frozen bananas. The pup (he is a year but will be pup until one comes along behind him) will probably also eat them because he will eat anything. The old dog just looks at me in disgust when I offer banana to him.

And when you run out of bananas and they look at you with soulful pleading eyes, you can sing:

Yes! We have no bananas,
We have no bananas today.
We’ve stringbeans, and onions,
Cabbages and scallions
And all kind of fruit, and say,
We have an old fashioned tomato
Long Island potato,
But yes! We have no bananas,
We have no bananas today!

Thanks for this!

I just go buy some more. I don't torture them with my singing. That would be adding insult to injury.

When I took my middle boy to dog school - I used dried banana chips and dried hotdogs as his treats. He loved the banana chips = the trainer made fun of me until she saw how much he liked them. Right now I give him trader joe dried baby bananas as his special snack when the other dogs are outside. They are disgusting but he is in heaven.

Think it was originally an English song. It's got 1920s Broadway written all over it.

It is funnier in my language, though. Then the customer starts throwing stuff through the window.

My math test today went really well. Only 1 exercise I doubt my answer of, and that only counted for 1.5 of the 44 points.
Thanks for this!

I just listened to the song in English on YouTube. The melody is the same in some places but different in others.

I am not a huge fan of potatoes in general - but they are interesting.
