I did not go to my parents when scared for reassurance. I don't remember if I showed them things I did well. I doubt it but maybe. I would imagine it would have gone like "this is okay but it would have been better if you X"
I also pretended to be asleep. I sleep better as soon as the sun starts to rise I have had sleeping issues since infancy if my parents are to be believed. Or I am a vampire and they just never told me.

It would not bother me if you were a vampire. The last three times I've tried to donate blood they have not wanted it (a few years ago, I ate the wrong medication, the next time (when I was no longer on any meds) my iron was too low, and most recently I wasn't allowed because I had visited a malaria infested area less than six months prior) and the last time I tried, the cute nurse told me that I could at least feel safe against vampires.
Thanks for this!

They usually won't take my blood either - it is always because my blood pressure is too low. Do vampires have blood pressure? The clues are adding up.

I believe I learnt from Buffy that they don't have a heartbeat, so I would imagine no blood pressure either.

Medical information in my opinion is not very private:

The system is not set up that way. Three weeks ago, I was at the hospital three days in a row visiting two sick friends. As doctors consulted with their roommates we could hear every word said, including one that had several psychiatric diagnosises. He asked her if what happened was an attempted suicide. The nurses also did change of shift reports at the bedside. When the doctor came to examine my friend I stepped out to give her privacy, and still could over hear the conversation in the hall. I moved further away, and into several other medical conversations, even a discussion of one patient being a pain in the *****. Today, I found out that the woman with the MI diagnosises was a former teacher at my kid's school.

Years ago, a family member owned a small business, 10-15 professional employees, and he basically always knew who was costing his insurance payments to go up, and he would quietly dispose of that employee. His payments were based on how much his employees used the insurance collectively, and when he would negotiate with them he had data with no names. My relative is dead now, and I don't know the changes in the industry, but if he was doing the same today I would have no qualms reporting him.

And vampires are well-known for their aversion to blinky things and their love of the word "ack."

How do you feel about garlic?

Speaking of sci-fi, is your avatar a mutant headless Star Wars stormtrooper?

Whatever it is, I like it.

Well, if anyone would know besides Bram Stoker, it would be Buffy

Maybe I am an italian vampire.
I greatly dislike rosemary but I do enjoy garlic.

I love electronica. Unfortunaely it is like bagpipes, you either love it or hate it.

Hi, couch. Just checking in. Haven't done so in a while. Finished my second masters course today. Now just to wait for my grade. After 5 weeks, I have a 97.87%. I don't expect it to go down too much.

Had my pdoc visit last Wed. Pdoc called me his "hero" when I mentioned I was taking courses to get my masters. He said that was a lot to take on while working 2 jobs. I tried asking to go off the shots again, but he still said I could not because he still could not trust me to take my medication. I guess I screwed myself over on that one from being non-compliant so much in the past. Oh well.

EAP appointments are over. Stupid EAP therapist was wacko, kept saying she didn't see how I could be enjoying my life working all the time between 2 jobs and school. She said every session that I should not enjoy being a work-a-holic because it was unhealthy. *rolls eyes* Whatever, I am done with her.

Was supposed to see my real T last Monday, but had to cancel due to state testing at school job and not being able to leave early. Now I will not see her for 3 more weeks, making it 5 since last session. Oh well. It is what it is.

Well, I am going to relax for a bit. I may check back in a little later.
Hugs from:

Finally motivated to cut grass because rain is coming tonight. It was already too long - rain would have meant I needed a scythe.

Yay T trousers! BY, do you have a regular T appointment at that time on Tuesday evenings? I ask because it's almost exactly the same time as my Tue morning appointment, and it would be nifty to know that you are T-ing at the same time, on the other side of the world

I also got my wish - T had no quibbles about me speaking English in session. It was a relief to do that. I guess I need to discuss with him why speaking my own native language is harder and feels more artificial than speaking a language that is not really my own...
Thanks for this!

Thank you I searched online for open-source images of robots, and picked one that looks like my imagination of Crocus the robot.

No, my regular T appointment is Monday mornings. I only went today as I cancelled then wanted it back again. I agree it would be nifty to be T-ing together on opposite sides of the world.
Glad you get to speak English in your sessions.

***TW**

The aftermath of talking about my brother is horrendous. I just want to curl up and go to sleep (maybe die) but have to make sure youngest showers and gets to bed early as she would stay up til paast midnight.

Hugs if you want! I've been traumatized by my brother too, so can relate a tiny bit.

I need input....

When someone says, "your sorry's don't matter" how would you take that? What does that mean to you?
