You could have your t call my t and ask if she is mad at me. (i am of course just playing.)

I've used that as a topic before, actually, the not knowing what to talk about. One time she had me draw a picture of how i felt. Or i do a sand tray. Or occasionally we just sat not talking. That tends to make me talk.

Did I miss something? Why do you think she's mad at you? The masquerade thing?

I think you're worrying too much.

Hope your T went ok, LittleEarthquakes.

If I don't know what to talk about, I open with that:

"Well, T, I don't know what to talk about today."

Art, After yesterday and all the texting which he cut short I feel like he is mad at me even though past history says he most likely is not.

Well earlier this week my bike was stolen. I went to the police station to report it missing. When asked is it valuable I said yes but they wanted a monetary value. Its old but is my means of exercise and getting out of my head. They said it probably wouldn't go on the database because it wasn't worth much. Well I went off my head. I ranted about police letting petty crime go by and how its the thin edge of the wedge etc. I was asked politely to leave by an officer.
The only consolation I have is maybe whoever stole it has been injured as the brakes don't work.

Sorry your bike got stolen. It is quite frustrating and feels terrible in my experience when this sort of thing happens.

I think she's mad cuz i declined coming this week, then texted yesterday changing my mind. AND the masquerade stuff. Damn transference. I know it has more to do w my mother than t, but I'm feeling like its t, and i hate it. Sigh.

I'm just annoyed that someone who can afford to go out and buy a new bike is more likely to get back than a poorer person whose bike is their main means of transport.

I have to say I'm quite proud of my motivation level lately. I'm teaching myself html and CSS from a website so I have new skills. Then to teach myself more about java and SEO. I figure in two weeks I'll have the skills to build a website. So, we'll see how things go. It'll be fun.

I have T Monday. It'll be interesting haven't seen her in almost 4 weeks. I'm curious what we'll talk about cuz I have no ideas.

Art-hope your tooth extraction went well and hopefully not in too much pain.
Thanks for this!

So it was actually over SO quickly. I can't believe it still. After the novocaine kicked in he came back and said ok first we're going to take the cap off, you might hear a pop, and you'll feel pressure. And then I felt a little pressure and he goes ok we're done and the nurse or whatever took the bib off and I was just absolutely dumbfounded. He said "Oh, the tooth came out with the cap. You did great!" I asked if he said that on purpose, that he had to take the cap off first, but he said no sometimes the cap does come off and then they have to pull the tooth but that their goal is to get both at the same time and he did. I am SOOOOOOOO relieved.

And after I braved through that one and survived, I am ready to face t on Saturday.

I kinda feel that way right now too. Thinking t is mad at me, is worse than going and finding out is going to be, I am sure.

This reminds me of back when I was going through the worst of my transference with previous T. At one point, for a few days, I was absolutely convinced that she was a sadist who wanted to hurt me for her own pleasure, but that if I didn't go along with her and do exactly what she wanted she would hurt me much worse...

Transference is a right trip. Previous T is actually a very sweet person, we just weren't the greatest therapeutic match...

Glad the tooth came out easy Art. Did you ask the dentist about your sense of smell?

I did and they said not as likely with a bottom tooth, but that it was a possibility. I never did go to the dr last weekend, so I'm going to hold off now and see how it goes in the next week or so. Thanks for asking!
