T does give me compliments. She says I am very attractive and that my art work is amazing but on the other hand she will say something insulting that takes the compliments back.
She has said that she adores my beautiful femininity and beautiful innocence. I dont ask for her comments or opinions.
Thanks for this!

Yes: she's complimented me using my coping skills, my exercise regimen (until recently as medical stuff has shot that to hell). from a professional perspective, she feels I am a compassionate medical practitioner
Thanks for this!

She has never complimented me. I'm not saying I expect her to notice everything I do but would it really kill her to encourage me a little? I'm not used to compliments from my parents either.

T (who's on leave) gave me compliments sometimes. When I've done something of which she knows it is hard for me she will compliment on that. She often talked about how ''far'' I've come, what I have accomplished.
She doesn't give compliments on my appearance. She does notice when I wear something alse than usually, like the last session it was the first time she saw me in a dress. The closest thing was ''I don't think you're fat''.

New T also give compliments. I think that has also to do with what kind of T she is and the kind of therapy we're doing (schema therapy).
Thanks for this!

Yesterday, T said "it looks like you've lost weight, have you?"
Close to a compliment I've heard about appearance.
She added that she tries not to comment on people's size because she considers it rude.
I guess since she knew I was struggling with binge eating, she wanted to know if there was a connection.

She's stated that she considers me a good parent (whatever that means) and a leader in my workplace.
Of course, this is from stuff I've told her!!!! Not that I'm lying but I could be.

No but I don't think he knows how. He only see's women as sexual objects so his compliments always have a sexual connotation to them.
