I often send my T photos. I have a feeling that doing this is uncommon, so I'm curious. Of course it is partially because I want to show off my grandchildren,
 but I also send scenic photos I've taken, and photos of my artwork. She says she enjoys receiving my photos! Before I had my smart phone, I didn't send many except when I was on vacation a few years ago.

No, but we don't email or text. I have taken photos in to show him though. He always enjoys them, particularly since he personally knows my family.

Never. She has never seen any pictures and has never asked. It didn't even cross my mind to show her some pictures.

I have a few times. She had sent me a few as well. Mostly from a book of her flower gardens over the years. She did send me a couple of pictures of sons wedding.

No. I don't take that many pictures to begin with and there is no reason for me to send or show the few I do to a therapist. I did once show her some pictures of my family.

I actually recently gave T1 an old picture to hold onto for me. I don't know if she put it in my file or what she did with it, all I knew was I didn't want it to stare at right now, but didn't want to get rid of it either. It was a reminder of a time of something pretty severe in my life, and trauma that has recently been retriggered by running into an abuser recently. This picture of myself (at around 13 with my brother and sister) was something I couldn't leave alone, but something I didn't want to keep looking at either.

T asked to see pics of my daughter and I showed her on my phone in session ( she wanted to see her wedding pics). I sent my t a picture ones via text. Of me and my fiancée's engagement. There was a reason for me to do that.

I dabble in photography and sent a photo via text to my therapist once. He thought it was a nice shot, but that's about it (I do a lot of nature shots).

Never sent any of them one, and the fact they get all excited and act like they've hit the jackpot when I offer to show them any in session put me off doing that.

I will sometimes show him my phone wallpaper. Which is often pics from the news, or like right now, a really great chicken pic from PC.

Never texted or email pictures with either T since we don't communicate through those.
But I have shown a picture or two off my phone during session when it was relevant...usually talking about my children. |

I used to email pics to my ex-T occasionally of my dogs.
I show my current one pics on my phone. Like me dressed up for my work Xmas party, my dogs, my before/after weight loss pics. |
