I really like my psychiatrist. After several others I have found one with which I 'click'. Problem? His practise is only half time - he's a teaching doctor and head of the department the rest of the time - and that takes precedence. Thus, I keep having my appointments cancelled and rescheduled. Arrrrg! I don't work - for now - so it's a problem that could be worse. Still, it leaves me sometimes feeling like I'm not a priority.

Guess I could have it worse, but I just needed to rant.

That's so frustrating to finally find the perfect fit and have problems with scheduling! I'm sorry Have you talking about it with your psychiatrist and told him how all the rescheduling frustrates you? Maybe there is some time in the day that is more consistently open for him that you could have your appointments?
