Must stay on the couch. I've learned my lesson. Opinions other than everyone else's makes them mad and then I feel bad for upsetting them. Blerg

I don't think anyone's mad at you. And if they are upset it is their problem, right? Nothing to feel bad about.

Just trying to encourage the new opinionated Ellahmae.

I don't think anyone is upset. People can disagree without being upset - particularly when things are based on personal experience. I won't see another phd because the only one I ever saw was batshit crazy. Right now I see different llcsw's - one is better than the other for me - but that you believe phds are better for you does not upset me in any way.
And even if it did - so what? It would be my problem, not yours.

Couch book club... that sounds like a great idea! It would also be awesome to have a couch chat. And a couch camping trip.

And now I am going to burrow into the cushions and hide from life for a bit while h and son argue about money. Icing on a crappie day. I'm an emotional pincushion right now.

Passing the wine around after pouring myself a huge glass...

Can we make s'mores on the Couch camping trip?

We'll have to bring SD's wing chair along because I can't see her sitting on a log.
Thanks for this!

This is where I confess I have never understood the smore allure.
And of course I am not sitting on a log.
Or camping either for that matter.
I was not lucky enough to be born in the 20th century in order to scorn indoor plumbing and bug free sleeping whilst packing a bunch of food and material from the indoors to the outdoors to be uncomfortable.

You could try it with shortbread - or any flat sweetened biscuit- which is bound to taste better than shredded wheat when chocolate and marshmallow are added into the mix.

Thanks not knowing exactly what a graham cracker tastes like in the first place made it hard to choose a biscuit.

I love camping. When my girls finish school and go to fend for themselves I am taking off in my car and just camping til I die. That is my plan, treatment providers are of the opinion that it not a good idea.

One of these days the American Couchies are going to have to mail you a care package with graham crackers, pumpkin spice Oreos, and Speculoos cookie butter. And cappucino potato chips.

When I studied abroad we used digestive biscuits to make s'mores. Not quite the same but close.
Thanks for this!
