I used to dress nicely for t1. Now I don't care. I do try to hit clean and neat. Most of the time, anyway

I honestly thought I was the only one! I'm so glad this is a thread now!

I wear the same thing every single week. Runners, jeans, and a t shirt (which varies week to week). It's summer here too and it's SO hot but I dont wear shorts because I hate my legs + I get so self conscious. I have a session tomorrow and I'm thinking of wearing ripped jeans but I'm nervous to see what my T would say so I would probably end up wearing a tank top and jeans. I dont mind my arms showing because it's like the only feature I like on my body.

It's summer here and I was wondering how appropriate it is to get legs out on display in T? I have quite ugly looking legs and have cellelute, but im getting too hot for tights and think why should i hide.
I know if I went bare legged I'd feel terribly uncomfortable and it would be commented on as what i look like or dress like is always commented on so it feels.
I know what you mean For me its about comfort first, but still looking respectable (I have joked about just turning up in my PJs so I can be truly comfy, but I think that would be pushing it lol). I also suffer from stress sweat when we are on a tricky subject, so I try to go with sleeveless and cool wear even through the winter.

Last week I went in a knee high strapless dress and flip-flops. I am currently heavily pregnant and have totally reached the, "feck it I NEED to be comfy!" stage. It made concentrating on what we were talking about a lot easier. The only comment made was "It must be summer" by T.
Thanks for this!

I wear the same thing for work, T, and everything else except for parties: jeans and whatever T-shirt or shirt or sweater is appropriate for the time of year. I pay very little attention to what I wear because it makes no difference.

I would not say that anything anyone else wears to T is inappropriate as long as it works for them. Wear clothes, is my advice. Don't go naked - it is frowned upon in many cultures, and may also cause frostbite.

I worry too about what clothing to wear to therapy. Not only in the summer. I think it's appropriate to wear something that show your legs. I've seen my other T wearing a dress once, which showed her bare legs from just about above her knees.

And current T has also wore dresses which showed a bit of her bare legs.

I did worry a lot more about how I looked with other T than with current replacement T. Other T is only a few years olders and she's pretty and slim.

I don't think there has ever been a T who has seen my legs. I hate them. There're so fat. But I might wear a dress to therapy somewhere in the following months. It's really warm right now. But I won't wear a dress that's shorter than my knees.

Something I personally don't think is very appropriate for therapy is shorts that show a bit of your booty or something that shows too much cleavage.

It could also potentially be quite unsanitary.

My T once told me that the only thing I couldn't say or do in her office was to take my clothes off!

I always try to look nice when I go to t! Usually I go straight from work/ seeing clients so I dress quite smart. T nearly always comments in my clothes especially when I wear yellow/ mustard, she likes this colour on me and so I find most of my wardrobe consists of yellow tops. This infatuation had to stop

I sweat a lot when I am nervous and so I always wore a black shirt and jeans.
