Occasionally, when it gets too much I self harm but its on my back and usually I only bruise and never break the skin. But it keeps catching on my clothes and breaks the scab. I'll be ok I just needed to get it out there.

The not so good news is I have to see a retina specialist next week because she found scarring on my left retina. I'm not going to worry about it until I know there's something to worry about. Oh, who am I kidding, I've been googling like mad all day.

And with that, I'm off to find something to eat, it's been that kind of day.

Contacts are awesome!! At my age I hated to wear them because I needed reading glasses too to see up close. I have a monovision prescription, both eyes the same, so I had this idea - just wear one. Then I could see at a distance with one eye and see up close with the other. I know that sounds not workable, but it was amazing!!

The eye doctor told me that it was ok to do that. It worked really great for me!!

I am so insanely tired that I am barely able move or function and people keep talking at me and then talking over me when I try to speak. **** them all. I still have a lot to do before I leave tomorrow to go to a competition but I am sitting on my bed brooding. What is it about the presence of our children that turns my husband into a petulant, inconsiderate jerk? We have been getting along great when they were not here.

Back home with my new glasses! What a pleasure to be able to read the words on the screen without lifting up my head to look through the bifocals.

I almost fell outta my chair laughing at the thought of encouraging SD to "be honest."

Did I tell y'all my son started his internship the other day? Today was his 3rd 10 hour day, he's wiped!! But he's off til Monday now. I brought home a huge 18" pizza from Costco since I had to go there anyway to get my glasses. He was quite thankful. I'm so proud of my boy!!

No - Ack is for ickness or grossed outedness
Oh good lord is for weary head shaking at the shenanigans and tomfoolery of couchsters.
