Anybody watch this? The guy is such a jerk but you know, it's weird in a way. . .I'm almost drawn to him b/c of the black and white world he is in.

Tonight, they're showing the one where the girl was raped, and she only wants to talk to him. Rather profound.

Oh gosh...I missed it!! I really like the show. I think his ultimate goal is to help the patient which he always seems to accomplish.

No more going to bed early for me!!!

He is black and white ,but its all a front....he's mushy inside and it will take a female love to bring it out.

you know, we talk about transference on here. Though he's a character on television, I think I have a transference issue.

We have this thing where we can record and play back on the box. . .like VCR I guess, but it's hard drive. . .so.. .
I've taken a few of my favorite shows and recorded them. I listen to them when I especially have a difficult time at night.

Is that weird?

no. i find comfort in him. i worked in ER and there are doctors who are so focused inwardly that they solve cases that no one else can touch. he just doesn't know that his focus is so much upon himself.

he needs someone. me or Gracey......

I really love House. And I really liked the episode you are talking about. She would not tell him about her traumatic (rape) experience until he self-disclosed. I loved that ! Showed the really strong benefit that self-disclosure can provide. I was like that with my therapist also. I could really relate to this episode.
