Hi, couch.

I am home between pdoc and my last interview as I have a little bit of time. Well, sort of pdoc.

While I was in my second interview this morning, I got a call from pdoc's office. They left no message, so I called them back after I was back in the car. It was the receptionist letting me know that pdoc had a family emergency to attend to and could not make my appointment. She said they were rescheduling most appointments today for next week, but that it was pretty booked. She asked if I would be okay with seeing pdoc's ARNP. I said "no". She then goes on to say that it would be best because I am due for my injection and waiting might cause my symptoms to return. I reluctantly agree because they promised it would just be this once.

When I go for my appointment, the office manager (pdoc's wife) is at the front desk. We get to talking about school starting back up and how her daughter is only in 4th grade, but will have more than one teacher. She then goes on to mention that pdoc had to go down to Miami and took their daughter with him because his older daughter was hospitalized and having emergency gall bladder surgery. I guess that is a "true" family emergency.

I saw the ARNP. She was nice, but I still like pdoc better. She said she was not a fan of injections because it seemed like forced compliance, but that pdoc swore by them and then she asked my opinion on them.

My first two interviews went well. One is supposed to decide by tomorrow. The other is supposed to decide by Monday. Now, just to go to my interview this afternoon. Hopefully, it will go well too.

You know, I love H and the kids and all, but sometimes I think my life would have been significantly easier if I had stayed by myself.

I am obviously patently stupid as I am missing something in these, as neither way has worked for me. No wonder i failed as a website programmer. Or maybe that was just manic wonderland.

Sorry Crocus' way worked. Still can't get @@ to.

Why is it that no "best of" CD for Ella Fitzgerald that I've ever seen includes "A-Tisket A-Tasket"? Do they think we want to hear "Someone to Watch Over Me" all the time?

Well, I am home. On my way home from the last interview, I got a call from my dad asking if I wanted to get dinner. I gave it a chance and accepted. It went okay. He didn't "attack" me. Instead he attacked my brother behind his back. Oh well...there's no winning with my family.

One thing I forgot to mention about pdoc's ARNP earlier. When she called me back she suggested we meet in pdoc's office instead of hers so that I would feel more comfortable with at least the location/environment being the same. That was a nice suggestion. I accepted it.

Last interview went really well. She said that she wanted to let me know that I was in the top two right now and that the only thing that could bump me down is if someone else that she interviews tomorrow has a strong math background like me, but more elementary experience than me. That's nice to know.

Just noticed there are 2 baby birds in the nest on my back patio! This is like the 5th set maybe? Might even be 6th, we have lost count, a new Mama bird moves in almost as fast as the previous one moves out. The nest is in such a perfect, protected place, and I guess the birds are lined up waiting to use it!

Just feeling strange about being in therapy limbo. One of the therapists I liked is not back until August. But I am not on the new insurance until October I was supposed to have a phone call with sparky this week but he flaked or forgot. I'm kind of hurt but at least he emailed me to confirm for next week. I don't think he will be willing to do this past September so strange my relationship with him is ending.

Hi, couch.

Well, I am starting to feel the effects of my shot. It's sore where I got it now. Kind of delayed, but it is. I also am more tired than usual, though that could be from invterviewig all day and driving around between them all. plus my appointment with pdoc's ARNP. Hard to say for sure.

I have a CVS store am filling in at tomorrow from 10-6:30. I am at about 35 hours total this week. Yay! Have C next week all week, unless i get a teaching job and then I may have to back out of some days. But, that will have to happen first.

Well, it is almost midnight...I should probably try to get to sleep, so I will not be tired tomorrow filling in. I should be pretty easy to get to sleep tonight. Busy day behind me. Night, couch.

If only I did not have the weight of betrayal upon me every moment of every day. It's exhausting and keeps me up. How anyone could do something like that to me is beyond me. Let alone people I once liked.

I'm going to institute a new rule around my kids. If the words 'I had to call 911' are not in the sentence, do not wake me up to talk to me. Waking up at midnight means sleeping again around 4 am. Grrrr.

Never rains but it pours I was driving my car thinking how good it sound s after being at the mechanic then it started to lose power then there was this god almighty noise then nothing. Trying to direct stupid people around a broken down car is frustrating. My timing belt snapped. Now to sit all weekend not doing extra much. Can't even have my D as I can';t drive her to school.
