At least I am somewhat comforted that the mechanic said in my size engine there is a protective mechanism that stops the timing belt from doing a lot of damage.

Morning couch! I woke up to an email back from t this morning, she read my fairy tale late last night and loved it. That was a nice start to the day. Today should be ok at work, it's Friday, and I have 2 meetings each an hour long, one in the morning and one in the afternoon so they will break up the day quite nicely. And then it will be the weekend!! They're supposed to be cancelling tomorrow's mandatory overtime, I'm happy for that, if they do I'm going to ask t if she's still available for a session tomorrow because I want to talk about the letting go of my "old story" in conjunction with the re-writing of it. Well I gotta finish getting ready and get on the road to work. If our wifi ever works again, I can catch up better with the couch at work. Lately I can sometimes get on here on my phone, w/out the wifi, but that doesn't even always cooperate. Oh well.

Have a good day couchies, and hugs to those who want them.
Thanks for this!

And it is the weekend again.
Not doing so great. Sorry. Have tried to write coherent replies to people's posts but I fail. I'm sorry.

I don't like the weekend, either. Ugh.

Started a gofundme for my little furry son's hospital stay, he has to go back again for another 2 days. I just want him to be better.

I hope he gets better soon, EM. I know how stressful that can be.

So i texted t earlier to schedule a 1/2 session for tomorrow. I don't need the whole time just wanna little of her time as i think i am actually ready to let the past go - but feel like i felt when i first drove a car - the instructor had controls he could use if i did something wrong - like that i want her there with me when i state my intention and do it in case there's a freefall or something. I don't know if that made any sense at all....

That's so much healthier than what I bought at TJ's today (chocolate lover's cheesecake for my mother).

TRader Joes has these Swedish fish knockoffs now called "Scandinavian Swimmers." They are naturally flavored and I can't stop eating them.
Thanks for this!

I know what you mean - I had two packs in one sitting each. Sugar is addictive. Stopped buying them.

They are better than Swedish fish.

I have been sick all week. I searched my house for honey whiskey to make a hot toddy but only have cinnamon. Sigh. Too sick to even horse back ride.

Speaking of horses made me think of Bay Brony. Anyone know how she is?

And, my street a few minutes ago. But it's all good cuz the worst of it is in the nearby wash, and if you don't drive in the wash, it's fine!

I like weather events, too. It feels energizing.

It's Friday so I'm having dessert. I don't do well with sugar, since it knocks me out, so I try to limit to the weekend. Also, I'm a vegan in a town with not a lot of vegan options, so I have to really work to cheat. Mostly, I love getting fresh berries at the farmer's market or on my walks. But tonight is salted vanilla caramel non-dairy something or other.
