QM,

I also want to know why your suffering was not your parents' fault. I'm in!

Eta: Thanks - the explanation makes it somewhat more palatable, altho that is totally the wrong word!!! If t were here he would be saying to me, "you needed an adult to help explain your confusing feelings to you..."

I suspected there were a few uh "chapters" missing! Or some volumes i would definitely be skipping!!

Me too!!

I'm walking similar things out myself. My counselor has stated to me, very plainly, that it was child abuse. I'm not holding onto un forgiveness, maybe that was how they were raised and knew no better or other issues. I don't know. I do believe there is empowerment, healing and freedom by calling it what it is. As long as you deny it and not call it out, I believe it has you in bondage to it.

Yeesh, that is some picture.

If that doesn't merit multiple Acks, I don't know what will.

Afternoon, couch.

Well, no calls into working somewhere today, oh well. Nothing else has gotten done either. I laid down to rest my eyes and ended up falling asleep and just woke up. Guess I was playing catch up after last night. lol

I better go finish my assignment now, so I can get it turned in (the diagram/chart is done...I just have to write the 300 word explanation. 300 words is basically nothing.
Thanks for this!

Man my meds wreaked havoc on my appetite regulation. Or atleast thats what I'm blaming it on. Realizing how excessive my appetite was on meds, and now that I'm off my appetite is jacked up the other way.
However, when I take ED quizzes online it states I'm very susceptible to ED. My T knows jack about ED or if I am beginning and I'm not ready to switch T's. So, guess I just better be careful.

I got the plumber scheduled for this week and also scheduled my first PT appointment, as I've done something to my back or shoulder. And even though I am off work for the summer, I have to go in twice this week. I'm glad to have things to keep me busy. I had a couple of nightmares this weekend and that has led to hypervigilance, which is no fun. When I'm busy it doesn't take as much of a hold.

I am showered and fed. Then took another nap. Lol.

Now to go make my last 3 discussion posts and write my explanation. I will be back in a bit.

Had appt. with weight loss surgeon today. I hadn't seen him for several months so I filled him in on my surgery/tia. Have had several unstable medical issues since March and I admitted I hadn't been eating healthily. Really. Eating out plus grandson had a birthday which means cake and ice cream. Also, it's totally unfair that Giant Eagle sells 12 freshly baked and filled yummy doughnuts for $5 on Fridays. Unfair, I tell you!

I expected I had gained ten pounds. I lost one pound! The surgeon said, let's get back on track. I agree. He added more fluid to my lapband. He pointed out that once I lose the weight, I'm not gaining it back...so let's go lose 30-40 more pounds!

I'm very glad he is a positive and inspiring doctor.
Thanks for this!

Well...discussion posts completed and reflection written. Now to chill before bed. Have all day tomorrow to chill as I do not have to be at my store until 5:00. I could theoretically work at another store before then if I got a call, depending what time they needed me.

hey couch, well i'm feeling better this afternoon. Just as I thought, once I got involved in work the feelings/emotions eased up and the rest of the day passed quickly without any more water works on my part. I ate a few cheez-its for lunch, so I'm feeling hungry now, guess I'll go rustle up something for dinner.

My cats are funny - the big black one and the kitten, they are chasing each other around the house and wrestling and when the take a break, before long the kitten is walking up to the big cat sideways with the scary-cat hunched back if that makes any sense. They crack me up. It's so funny that they are friends now - it took quite awhile for the big cat to want anything to do with the kitten. But she's a tough cookie, she kept on trying, and she finally broke him lol now they play-wrestle all the time. And then an hour later they're laying right next to each other on my bed sleeping.
Thanks for this!
