I just read the thread I started 17 months ago after I phoned T1 to tell him I wasn't coming back. Not sure why I read it, and not sure how I feel about it. It's been a long time since I touched on how acutely and profoundly changing therapists affected me. I'm feeling weirdly stunned now.

Echos, I have that very figurine in my house! I am not even sure how I came by it to be honest, I didn't buy it I am sure, but there it sits by my front porch on a little window sill!

I do it through photos/upload photos usually, sometimes copy/paste from other web sites but that doesn't always work

It's a pain in the butt, it stinks, it makes my hair feel yucky, etc. He said (and I quote) "Just promise me if the doctor ever tells you I have 3 weeks to live that you'll color it for me then so I can see you with normal hair again." I am 54. What is not "normal" about having some gray? Besides, when I get it cut, they always tell me it looks like highlights.

I do not understand him at all. He gets upset when I am sad but it's so often something HE said or did that I am sad in response to. Like him saying "I hate the color". Anyway, here is me. I'm not crying anymore, and f him.

Some of the most gorgeous hair I've seen has been on women who have natural salt and pepper hair and pure silver even solid white. It looks really elegant. Maybe h is more self conscious about his own age and it has little to do with how you look.
Thanks for this!

Aw, my late, beloved grandmother (passed away 2 years ago) collected Hummels. She saved angel ones to pass down to me and my cousin.

Guinea pigs? Did you/do you have them as pets? I've had a few, and they've been great--so sweet! Miss having them around...(the last one passed a few months before my daughter was born--she's 5 now).

Yeah he probably is. It was just so hurtful to hear him say "I hate the color". I'm over it.

Wow I'm sitting here getting all emotional - my sister just posted a pic on facebook of my Dad with my son when he was about a year old. I miss my Dad (which is complicated enough in itself), I miss the sweet little boy my son was then, I miss how different my h was back then.... I'm just a puddle of emotion today.

Ok this is how I do it
First I open up a reply/post window then
1. I either google a pic and click on it and then click view image then copy the web address and click on the picture icin above the reply window then paste the address there. and clikc ok.
Or
2. click on a pic on a web page and when it opens in a new window follow instructions as above. starting at copy web address...

I hope I have explained this ok.

All right, who was at the grocery store in my town today? I pulled in next to a SUV that had customized plates that read "Love My T".

i was thinking about how long i have been a part of the couch and realized we have bunches of new people who might not know me as well anymore .i have not involved myself in the banter as much as i use to. been kind of selfish in that manner and im sorry. so i thought i might tell a little about myself that some already know and others may not . fun facts i love wine and tequila. im addicted to teavana herbal teas . you know the ones that might make stopdog go ack because they really dont have any tea in them lol. i love crafting and am married to my best friend for 17 years . im a cat person with 3 cats named sir donut, noodle p pastapuss, and freddie b fienklestein. i have one child my adult son .guess you know his story right now .
not so fun facts i lived in an abusive situation until about age 15 and after that in residential treatment centers until i was 24. yes that is about 9 years of living in hospitals and treatment programs . im now in T with my current T for going on 5 years . for the first 3 years or so i barely said a word to her . i didnt talk to much to anyone . im doing much better with that for the most part but still struggle .anyway those are some facts about me

oh and just so you know fairies are real

Lol, wasn't me. Wonder what t means to them. Could it be therapist? I tend to doubt it but you never know.
