Ah Augmented reality! Don't we live in a fantastical world now. This is stuff of dreams 40 years ago. Self-driving cars. Electric cars.

Did i do anything wrong?
If she is still in the store then at least she is in a public place. Hopefully she found somewhere safe to stay for the night. Is her husband abusive? Sorry you got roped into this situation but it sounds like you helped.

She may be hiding from him which could be a good thing. You are not responsible for finding her for him. If he is truly concerned he can go to the police.

Incas if you are afraid he will hurt her you can call the police and explain the situation and they can do a wellness check.

You don't have to answer his texts. He sounds like a bully.

In donestic violence cases...i see no point in calling cops...unless the victim is ready to exit.
She isnt.
She may deny everything.

At least if the cops show up it starts to document there is a problem. So when she is ready to leave there will be evidence to support her claims

I need to back away from the computer. I just had a nostalgia moment and shopped on Amazon for toys of my youth. I ordered an Etch-A-Sketch. I miss playing with one of those. Not that I NEED one. Lol. Oh well...I can use it to destress when I need a break here and there. You are never too old for toys of your youth.

I loved Etch-a-Sketch. In fact, No. 2, who mostly works with kids, has one in her office. I stare at it enviously sometimes.

You deserve a treat, Squirrel!

@@ I classify Billy Joel as light rock but that sounds not right. He doesn't appeal to me.

my siblings and i had that "Thingmaker" back in the early 70's that made creepy crawlers - spiders, bugs, centipedes... i won't post a picture although i found some online for sale. What a weird toy. I have no idea why someone bought it for us - I can't imagine my parents buying something like that. Probably my uncle did.
Thanks for this!

Well, it is almost 1am. I better go try to force myself to go to sleep. I don't want to be nodding off at work tomorrow. Need to wake up about 7 to get a shower. That is only 6 hours away.

I had a oven that made creepy crawlers in the late 80's. It looked like an easy bake oven, only you put trays with bugs that were made with some sort of rubbery goo.

So I just printed out the notes I typed up for t tomorrow morning. I don't think I'll need them though. I am more than ready to talk about it. I can't say it out loud to anyone but t. And it wants to be said out loud. I wonder how she knew that 2 weeks ago was the right time to bring it up. Not a month ago, not 6 months ago, not any other time but 2 weeks ago which was exactly when I was ready to start looking at it. I guess that's one of the things t's "do". They get to know our timing.
