Might not be the truth but it's what I thought of first when reading about your conversation

I thought about this too. The evening pdoc saw me tonight and told him she was letting me out no matter what.

They know I have a plan. I'm not really sure what will happen. Half of the evening docs are saying I'm still too unwell. I'm terrified of being seen as "borderline" though.

Can you talk to the evening docs about how bad it is so they can talk to day staff and suggest you should stay longer?
Thanks for this!

Don't focus on their diagnosis too much right now. There's nothing you can do about it. Instead focus on getting yourself safe. That's more important.

What do you think it will take for you to get to a safe place?

They say you are still too unwell and your psychiatrist still wants to discharge you on tuesday? Can't you get another psychiatrist?

It's not fair or even coherent.
I am sorry I don't have anything helpful to say, but I am reading you
