My psychiatrists have both recommended some very good books. A few non-fiction and several self-help. I found the book Changing My Mind, Margaret Trudeau to be an extremely valuable tome to read. She, incidentally, is the mother of the present prime minister of Canada. She was married to his father a former prime minister. At the time the media really treated her horribly for her outlandish public behavior. She was later diagnosed with bipolar. Anyway, while I obviously didn't have the same experiences as hers they certainly mirrored my own. It was practically a checklist of my own life.
