Haha. Both Ts I have seen have been male and both dressed, erm... How do I put this nicely... Like they had zero interest in clothes. I remember T1 once wore such a terrible sweater I did a double take when I saw him! T2 looks like he hasn't been shopping for over a decade. Bless em.

[QUOTE=songofthesea;5303171]That sounds terrible! Although if female I'm getting this Sarandon-in-The-Hunger image.

He is a rather unique individual. He and his wife have an organic homestead, heat with wood, and homeschool their kids. Yet at the same time, he's very professional in the office and almost TOO businesslike sometimes. It's an odd mix. I've been in therapy since I was a kid, and he's my best T ever!

My T dresses smart-casual. She has some lovely clothes! She always wears heels though. Always always! She is very petite though so that's probably why.

My old t was conventional. Dresses or dressy always smart and professional. New t is very old fashioned, she was a sws (socks with sandals) offender and her hair was a mullet. Total opposite from last t who always was immaculately presented.

Unless someone's specifically asked for comments on their relationship with their T, it's best to refrain from offering them (especially given how things can escalate very quickly and sentiments misunderstood in an online forum such as this one).

Starry Night's relationship with her T sounds pretty fantastic from whatever I've read of her stuff. It's not something that would necessarily work for me though -- just like a whole lot of other T relationships I read about here would never work for me. But, that's just my choice as it is everyone else's. She wasn't asking for comments on how her relationship with her T worked but simply stated how it is.

So, it behooves the rest of us to respect that and leave it there as well.

It's not something I pay much attention to except when a shirt seems particularly ill-fitting. I'm not about to win any fashion awards myself, so mostly I don't care. It's an interesting question, though. I will research and report...

I could not abide a therapist who referred to herself as whacky.

Fair point. I didn't mean my post to come across as judgemental, if anything I was more concerned as this did seem to lie outside normal therapeutic boundaries. However, I don't know the back story. Apologies all, I will think before I type next time.
