Talking the last few sessions about my recently dead mother, T replied to something I said with "you're mourning!". I just can't help myself, even in the midst of tears and snot I looked at her and said "Yes! But what about my afternoon!" 😂

Then a little later on I was taking about hope, T said hope held you together as a child, the hope your mother would be all the things she should have been. I said now she's dead I should be able to let hope go. Then I said "abandon hope all ye who enter here " as I turned to T she had her hand over her mouth trying to cover her smile.

I think life is busy like this. Silver lined clouds.
