How lovely. I am too scared to ask mine as I get the feeling she isn't into any kind of touch in therapy at all. She has asked me if I like hugs and that I look like I need a hug and I said yes to both but she didn't give me one. I kinda wish she hadn't said those things

I guess not at least I hope not as it would be even worse if she did
and I don't get to go to therapy again until January now because she is overseas for the Christmas period and I don't have contact without her outside of our session so missing 3 weeks is hard

Just wanted to add another thing onto my list.

Listening to my story, no matter how horrible I feel. Inviting me to come back and "tell him what is too much." That's a gift beyond words to me.

Also, taught me how to tell which side of the car has the gas cap. There's a little arrow by the fuel gauge. ****ing invaluable, that.

When I first brought the bipolar diagnosis, it took only three sentences before he said, "Yes, it all makes so much sense. It puts all the pieces together."

She believed me.

I had just terminated with the first T I ever told - and he didn't.

So there is hope, good to know. I've only done therapy for 7 weeks, but we've dived in to a few issues already.
Thanks for this!
