When do you know if you don't need therapy anymore?

I don't know. I wish I did. I feel like I don't but I'm unable to stop going so I guess that means I still do. I'm a mess...

I don't know , I wanna say that cheesy stuff people say... you'll know when you know
But I don't buy into that personally Everyone is different

My T says it's when you don't get upset very often, and you spend sessions with more chatting than working on difficult issues.
But I don't know whether I'll ever not be upset about something! I cut down on sessions when I initially had to cut sessions due to circumstances, and then T and I both realised I was coping really well. It was a huge confidence boost for me. So now I go less often than before. But I don't plan on stopping altogether (while keeping an open mind that one day I might want to). |

Do you have goals in your therapy? Can you and your T come up with some? Maybe when you meet them, it'll be time to stop.
