The dogs have caught a couple of rabbits. What idiot rabbit builds a nest in a yard with three dogs, some play mate visiting dogs, and a (granted lazy terrible hunter -but still) cat

Has anyone ever accused rabbits of being bright? Tricks are for kids!

I see you've started hugging again.

For anyone in the U.K. - there's a cool programme on BBC iPlayer called Mind over Marathon. It's about people with various kinds of mental health problem who are training for the London marathon. I think it's good! I find running really helpful...

I have an appointment with CW tomorrow. Last time she told me that she thinks most people would have just brushed off the Smaug episode - you know, the loss of a psychiatrist and two therapists within less than a week? - unethical termination by the psychiatrist on grounds I was at risk despite my insistence I wasn't. That most people would have said "eff them" and moved on.

Since I was very clear from the start that what I wanted from her was support during the divorce and the Smaug complaint, not her opinions (on anything), I am going to address this tomorrow. But before I do, I want to take a mini-poll: would you have reacted by just brushing it off?

T emailed me back.. can't bring myself to open the email. Isn't that just funny. I have b*tched all week about how he has been slowly decreasing the amount he replays to an email. I got one and I won't open lol.

No i wouldn't. And i also wouldn't care for a therapist telling me what other people would do or feel, like it even matters what other people would do in your situation. This is your therapy, about you.

Truthfully, the psychiatrist would have been something I more than likely would have brushed off. But I don't know that I think most people would have. Reading on here has left me with an impression that many people depend on them in various ways that are important to them.

The first one I see used to tell me what (according to her) other people do -one of the reasons she may not speak any more.

It was not so much the loss of the psychiatrist as a psychiatrist that bothered me, it was the being treated like a piece of particularly imbecilic garbage by her.

ATAT, I would not have brushed it off with Smaug. If it were me, I would reiterate tomorrow what it is you want from C W.

I am not sure on what exactly happened? Smaug thought you were suicidal, so told you she can't work with you? That is weird first of all...but I dont 'know how I'd react. I only see my pdoc once a month/every two months, but I probably wouldn't be happy if she did that.

How do you feel like she treated you like imbecilic garbage? By not taking you seriously that you weren't at harm?

I do think that CW really didn't need to say that other people would have brushed it off, consequently telling you that you "should have," (indirectly)

That bothers me the most!

Roofers are going to start about 6AM tomorrow. I'm staying home because I feel like I need to be around and mostly because it is going to drive my dogs crazy. Maybe if I'm here it won't be quite as traumatizing. It's going to be a loud day.

Watch out for roofing nails around your yard, drive way and street. A stray nail in the street flattened one of my tires a few years back.

Oh, good call. I found a bunch in our yard when ours was done, which I managed to keep away from D.
