STOP IT!

Whatever it is... my guess, emailing your T in a drinking state...

Remember the rules... no drinking and texting or emailing T's

STOP IT!

Did that help??

The second therapist I pay did not become a therapist until her late 50s. She is currently in her mid 70s.

Wow, that's amazing! She must have really felt a calling. I want to go back to school but I have so much self-doubt about it because it would cost a lot of money and we all know my issues about money don't we!! I'm even too paralyzed over it all to take just one class - h is even encouraging me to at least take ONE class - just to see how it goes. Yet I continue to not do it.

Well, that's not entirely true. I did do the 7 month practitioner training that was once a month. That could be considered a baby step right?

Maybe I will check into taking one class anyway.

That's a very interesting approach. I can hear that you are discouraged, but I think this is progress.

It's been a very busy and eventful week!!

I'm now officially a grandmother (Yaya) as of yesterday afternoon.

My DIL developed preeclampsia and they started inducing her Tuesday night. She, my grand daughter, came into this world at 3:54 Wednesday afternoon. She had 30 minutes on her mom's chest and they detected that she was having breathing problems. They took her to the NICU unit to make sure she was ok. She has been there since then.

She is making progress. She is just alone in that place without her mom and daddy.

I would value your prayers for her to continue to make progress and they can all be together.

Evening...err early morning (12:41 am) couch.

I am home from CVS and caught up on the couch. Gifted test group this morning went okay. at 10 minutes left in the session the last kid finished up and then they all got a little ansy for the last 10 minutes. 2 hours is a long time for teens to sit still and silent.

I had CVS tonight. It was slow. Most of the snowbirds have left so we are not as busy. I have to test all day tomorrow like today. Then Monday and Tuesday as well. Then, they can't use me for testing anymore. The aide in the behavioral class is being moved to another area in the school where the kids are even more out of control, so they are moving me into the behavioral class. It is only 3 kids, so at least it will be a little managable, well actually pretty managable as one kid is absent quite a bit...he has not withdrawn yet and the last day he has been to school was February 22.

The behavioral class cannot be without an aide, so unlike when I am in gen ed classes, they cannot pull me to administer the make-up test sessions. Yay, no testing kids...Boo, dealing with severe behavioral issues. It's win-lose. Oh well. My new "assignment" starts on Wednesday (they let the testing coordinators still use me for the scheduled sessions that all kids are supposed to sit through. They just can't have me run make-ups for the absent kids this year. Lol.

Well, it is now almost 1am...I have to test kids tomorrow, so I need to be alert, so I should probably call it a night.

Later, couch.

Hugs, thinking of you and your grandchild.
NICU must be extremely scary for a child, and definitely not easier for her (grand)parents

I agree, and it is the kind of pointless deflection that could end up needlessly harming the relationship, in my view.
