I have been rubbish today and slept way too much again BUT I had a phone call from that guy, asking me to come in tomorrow for a 'chat', I think he is going to offer me a job - as long as I don't do anything too crazy?

It'd be a great job, exactly what I need at the moment, working in a really cool little shop.

I just had an hour-long meeting w my sup where i bawled for most of it. Jeez. I have so much stress from the pressure the company i work for is under from this client. Agh. I am on break now and went to starbucks for a chai tea latte. Self care, Artie. It's a thing. Do it.

I also want t right now dang it but i don't want to want her. We got into some deep **** the other evening and I'm kinda reeling from it.

Yes, that dress sounds right up the alley of the shop. Go for it if it makes you feel good inside.

H has a bit of a go at me for using these forums so much, calling it attention seeking. I point out the hypocrisy that he uses a different forum, and tell him I saw a post he put up there calling a (female) user sweet etc and said that what is that if not attention seeking. He accuses me of snooping (actually I looked at that one day when he was texting me saying he'd posted on the 'what are you listening to now' part of that forum and I looked at that and the other post was the next one down, so I don't feel like that was snooping). And he accused me of storing that up to attack him with, when actually I was planning not to mention it because I do trust him, but I couldn't take the hypocrisy of what he was saying.
Sooo, that's not what I needed right before I fly.

'Attention seeking'? That doesn't make any sense to me at all. What you're seeking is support - and offering it to others, too. That's a good and healthy thing to be doing.

Calling it 'attention seeking' sounds like the kind of thing my partner would do. If he knew that I was posting here, which obviously he doesn't.

These kinds of arguments always seem to come at the worst time, don't they? Hope your trip home goes okay.

Flamingo dress for the win!

Thanks Luc. We managed to apologise to each other and explain our points of view a bit more rationally to each other, after a fashion. We rarely argue but, there's been the odd bit of tension over the last week or so, I think it's the stress of holidays partly. He was making a more general point about social media but I read it as being aimed at me, which I think it was a little bit. But I'm impressed with how quickly we resolved it.
