She won't allow texts or emails (unless it is an email about something she asked me for information about, since I am coolibrarian and can find stuff!). I can call her if I am in crisis or to make or change an appointment. She's old school, near retirement.

I'm very lucky in that my T allows me to text or call her any time .. I try not do but there are times I've text her a lot .. and it really helps me to know I can do that

Calls are allowed. No clue about texting but I doubt it. Emails are not preferred due to the the confidentiality issues.
