Welcome to the couch, old and new! A place to hang out - sometimes you get immediate feedback, sometimes you don't.

Shouting, "Cool Whip" tends to bring others out from between the cushions if you're feeling lonely.

This is a chatty thread. All are welcome. We're kind of psychologically oriented, sometimes. We try to be supportive. At times we discuss what that means.

It’s a place to plop down on the couch when you come home from work or wherever, or wake up in the middle of the night, or check in at lunch, rant a bit or not, and be among friends.

We advise you not to drink or drug and text your therapist ("T") - we speak from experience...

Sometimes the thread moves fast and you might get overlooked; sometimes it moves slowly and all you hear are crickets. Sometimes you get hugged or thanked pages later. So if it's a bigger question, you might want to start a new thread.

Grab a cushion, a spot on the floor, or an armchair in the corner (or with us) and make yourselves comfy!

Brothers wife is pregnant. Sister is pregnant. All I have ever wanted to be is a mother. Father is now no longer talking to me, he blamed me and took the witches side, even though he's divorcing her and ran away 4 states from her to do it because he is scared of her. I am detoxing and want to die. My sister dispenses my meds and she lost them... Duchess is not happy to put it plainly, although when she called me last night it included a lot of colorful language. I'm glad it's Friday, which I'm not sure why - it's just another day.

I swear I get thru something and then something else latches on and drags me down.

Duchess in 5 hours.

People do this all the time, don't worry.

Actually, working in a pharmacy and filling scripts I see people prescribed prescription strength of both "Tylenol" and ibuprofen quite a bit; so, it is common practice at least where I live.

Also, even for OTC strengths, people take both all the time. All the pharmacists in my store recommend it to patients who ask what to do for pain after things like dental procdures when they do not want to take the narcotic the dentist prescribed. The kiey is spacing them out (which you did say there was 2 hours between them, so that is some time afterwards, so I am sure you will be okay).

When I was in pain my doctor didn't want to give me a script for anything pain control related (for psych reasons) so he told me to take 3 extra strength tylenol and 2 ibuprofen, together every 4-6 hours.

Morning, couch...

I am up and ready for my day.

I need to get into (walk-in) clinic I use today for a TB test. It's Friday, so I figure the 2-3 days to return for the results would be Monday (or even if it is Sunday, they are open). I am signing up to volunteer as a fill-in babysitter for the children's home I sponsor birthdays for, so they require FDLE fingerprinting and a TB test to work with the kids. The fingerprinting is done. They went to register me for it in the state database and found my fingerprints from a few years ago from my pharmacy clearance and were able to use them since they were still valid, they just had to add searching for child abuse to the clearance for them, since pharmacy only searched for things such as drug abuse. Already having the prints in there save me $75 bucks. The print expire at the end of May 2018 though, so I will need to get reprinted then, but that is about a year away, so I have time.

This sounds like a good couch project. Then we all send the pictures to our ts. im dyin here.

When I get home I'm making the office out of legos. She's moved into a new office in the office building so it's queenly sized, which is appropriate for maleficent herself, so I might need to buy more legos.

If we're sending them to our Ts, we should sculpt them out of something weird, like raw ground beef. Or french fries. Or poo.

I should build mine on top of a tiara.
