Sounds weird, hopefully the shipper just mixed up their shipping receipts and gave you the number of something else they'd shipped? For tracking numbers in the US, they also always tell you to wait 24 hours for the number to activate. I don't know if they reuse numbers or not-- usually if I try to enter a tracking number too soon I just get a webpage telling me to wait 24 hours.

Yeah, I would ask them about it. Do they have positive reviews otherwise?

Morning couch. I must have dreamed about t last night but I don't remember, all's I know is I woke up missing her so much and feeling like a piece of me is missing. I want to talk to her so bad but I can't. I made my bed now I have to lay in it. she's out of town this week so I can't contact her even if I'd let myself. Oh what have I done. I am miserable. I'm sorry to burden you couchies. This is so stupid and I know it.

Can I borrow your forte long enough to email t?

Art - email her or call her and send it to her next week when she is back in town. If I was going to email, I would just email and say I wanted an appointment sooner than you had scheduled - I think emailing too much of an explanation or whatever with her will cause more agony. But I think the agony you are going through right now could be alleviated if you would just contact her and directly ask for what you want.

Also - have you considered seeing a different (or more than one) therapist during this break - just to give some perspective on what else is out there. I don't mean to talk about the current therapist, but just to try out some new ones?

I agree with SD, Art. You are placing this constrictions on yourself that don't necessarily have to be there. Email her! Call her next week. I think it would be okay.

Still having to write this blasted suck-up email.

I can't seem to shove my pride far enough the wrong way up my GI tract to finish it. But it must be done. I am trying to pretend I'm writing to a person I actually respect. But it's a taxing exercise. Anyway it absolutely must be done by 2pm.

I keep getting really anxious over nothing and I interpret that as a sign that something terrible as happened. Namely my T is dead.

Thanks SD and Velcro. I'm just scared that if I contact her in any way even just to schedule and say nothing else that I'll just make things worse between us. But at this point I guess I have to take the risk and ask for what I want so I can stop worrying and going through these periods of feeling miserable.

I think if you keep it simple and don't try to explain too much (or apologize!), that should be fine if you contact her to ask to schedule earlier than you originally planned. I'd think she'd prefer that to you sitting there being miserable...
