Today went well I guess. I think she kept trying to get me to look at her because out of the corner of my eye I kept seeing her using her hands a lot to talk so either she just does that or she was trying to get me to look at her.

My assignment for Thursday is to think about what would make me truly happy and also what behavior makes it that Rex doesn't want to talk to me when I'm in a funk.

Well I talked to Rex about that and he said most of the time he's just tired and doesn't really want to talk to me any way but he does it any way. I think we are gonna have to have a boundaries talk soon about if one of us doesn't feel like talking to the other they don't have to feel obligated to actually continue the conversation.

I am getting ready to go work on my homework for therapy as well as study for my quiz in Advanced Spreadsheet tomorrow so I can chat later.

Great you could talk to Rex and get a bit of clarification about talking to each other. I tend to withdraw when I'm in a funk, get critical, and Scott almost always calls me on it :-)

So, what sorts of things are you finding that might make you happy? I go for little things; take a few dollars to a large dollar store or flea market or grocery store and find the "one" item that I want LOL. Then I think about why I want/wanted it, what it symbolizes, etc.

So far I haven't come up with anything. I guess it would make me happy to see my sister but Dr. McCain said what makes us truly happy comes from within not outside ourselves if that makes any sense. Tonight while I'm home watching my Ghost Hunters shows I will be pondering this question.

Jbug. What a good question your T has given you. You are right about "it" coming from inside ourselfs, everything else is just an illusion as we choose to see it. Just spending time with this question will help you immensly. Joy is found in finding ourselfs!

I had therapy again. We touched on the subject but decided that other things were more pressing today. Next week we will be discussing what I think my strengths are. I have an assignment that one of the questions I have to answer is that. For my Professional Development class I have to answer 40 most common interview questions. UGGGHHHHH Anyway therapy is actually going somewhere and we still get back into interview mode once in awhile and I imagine that as the time for my sister to come gets closer we will be talking about that a lot more.
