I said Plan to End Therapy in the Near Future. Although at the moment I'm fairly certain there isn't going to be any definitive ending per se... rather, a gradual, gentle and natural disconnection from each other. At least, that's how it feels right now. This may change when I see her on Thursday, a month since I saw her last...

I assume at some point I will end therapy. I have no clue when, but I don't think it will be any time soon. I have made leaps and bounds so far. But I am f'd up and I have miles to go before I will be content with myself.

I have a goal that will probably take at least about 2-3 years, and then I can work on some of my other stuff. They're not mutually exclusive, but they overlap in very specific ways.

I see my therapist at my university clinic so when I graduate (a little fewer than two years from now) I'll stop seeing her. I don't know if I will quit therapy altogether or if I will look for a new T. I guess we'll see where I am when I get there.

For me it's in the past already as I ended therapy >a year ago. It was initially set as a "Plan to End Therapy After Reaching Therapy Goal(s)" but then I "Ended Therapy After Making Progress I Wanted". Also just progress that came unexpectedly, both in and outside of therapy.

I relate to this although this type of relationship is not something I ever wanted with anyone, so maybe it would never happen, but I need to feel ok with the idea of being touched, or close to people etc, all of that is seriously terrifying to me
Thanks for this!
