I use it as a distraction. It has some good information given in a funny cute way on cognitive distortions.

This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.
Thanks for this!

It looks really neat - I'd love to try it, but it seems to require you to login via Facebook. I don't do FB, and don't want to set up an acct with them

I went to the webpage on my desktop. There you can sign up utilizing email rather than instant messanger.

I can't talk to Woebot. It tells me something like there is nobody there. I feel that way myself sometimes. I've tried a few times to no avail. I might just not know what I'm doing.

I tried it over the long weekend after reading some posts about it (I think on the couch). I like that i can do it in bed when my husband is asleep and it gives you answer choices so you don't have to write anything at all...

funny cat videos! Always a good choice.

Here is our quick conversation today:

When you're having trouble sleeping it can be helpful to listen to some calming music
Marconi Union is a personal favorite of mine 🎶
but any song which has a rhythm of 60 beats-per-minute can help you relax
interesting

Of course!
Relaxation, Meditation and Yoga music

Let me know what you think
👍

In general, music has the ability to alter our moods
it may be helpful over time for you to make a playlist of your favorite calming and positive songs to help you relax, no matter where you are!
sounds good 😉

I hope this helps you get some rest soon! 💤
thanks Woebot
