Now I eat maybe one meal a day. It's not that I am not hungry, I just forget to eat more than that. I told pdoc that. He raised his eyebrows over it. I want to know what he is thinking about me.

I am only 5 foot, so 122 is not too little....it is about right. So, it's not like I have an eating disorder. But, I am afraid that pdoc will think that I do. That's the last thing I want.

I'd weed eat it myself but I don't know where the batteries are and the thought of digging through all the stuff in the garage to find them fills me with dread. All my husband's stuff is out there and I just don't want to deal with any of it. So I get home today and one neighbor is in my yard with a shovel, apparently weeding something. She's out there with another neighbor, an older woman who is not the most pleasant person I've met. They keep calling me a shortened version of my name, so today I just told them that's not my name. Then the old bat asks me when I'm going to do something about this mess. I told her I'd take care of it when I get around to it and that she was rude then went into my house. I probably should have just kept my mouth shut but I was annoyed and didn't feel like dealing with any of this. I felt ambushed in my own yard. I've managed to mostly avoid my neighbors for 10 months. I just want them to leave me alone. I feel like I don't belong here anymore.

The last thing you need is another lecture.

Having said that, I have found that gardening is a way to build a sense of belonging.

Metformin can be hard on the stomach.

So tomorrow is the last day of our month-long walking challenge at work. I'm still in the top 50 (just barely) at 46 miles logged. I've walked more, but didn't have my phone on me to track it. Boo. But still, go me. I plan to continue after tomorrow since it's a boost to my weight loss. I just got back from a brisk evening walk around the long block....

You ARE a super busy squirrel, based on your posts. But you also have a really good relationship with your pdoc - i think he would have told you right out if he was worried in any way.

Do you have a regular medical doctor or gyn? At your next annual checkup, or before, you could let them know youve lost weight (and why/how, so they dont think its for no reason), and they can make sure your blood work, pressure, etc is ok.

A good night's sleep and waking with good dreams in my head makes SUCH a difference. That and a glass of wine instead of a cup of second-favorite tea.

I am starting to wonder if I've slipped into an alternate dimension, actually. One teen took out the trash without being asked, and another washed his lunch dishes today. And they've been helpful with dinner, setting the table and so forth. The biggest one even helped cook and had a real conversation with me instead of just grunting. There is hope for the future. It's like they're turning into people or something.
(That is a joke, btw. My kids are and always have been remarkable people and I really really like them. Poking fun is our way of making sure we all navigate their teenhood without too much conflict.)

I agree--when I was so sick fall of 2015, the first big symptom was sudden extreme weight loss (about a quarter of my body weight to start). I'm still not back to where I was (maybe a few more weird Oreo flavors will do it).

All this anger i have stirred up from mondays session, i am realising that perhaps is anger and not anxiety that fuels my restlessness just before a big bipolar episode. i have that same restlessness but no other signs. i just dont know where to put it.
