I am grading papers for the summer school class I teach. Punctuation abuse is rampant. Students usually get that exclamation points are not used in legal documents, but the quotation thing is harder to beat out of them.
Grading always makes me cranky but gives me a cleaner house because I clean to avoid grading

Because I don't really want to be seeing a T who's openly dealing with a separation or divorce right now. If it's going on in the background, and they can keep doing their job and not noticeably bring it into the room, no problem! I think it's because of the stuff with ex-MC's wife, which I know was a different thing, but it definitely affected him to some degree in how he did therapy (though that may have been his inability to keep his own stuff out of the room in general). Partly because of my tendency to want to "take care of" (to use quotes!) male authority figures...if I was aware (or strongly suspected, like if he stopped wearing his ring for a long stretch of time) something like that was going on with him, then those instincts might come out. And that would mess with my therapy.

So, a T's personal life could be a total train wreck--I just don't want to be aware of that...and if he consistently wasn't wearing a ring, that would make me wonder.

I remember former T not wearing her ring set one time and I simply asked “Wheres that rock thats usually on your finger”. After staring at me perplexed for about 30 seconds, she was just like
“Jersey, I’m menopausal and bloated today”

Depressed (more than usual), overwhelmed (work, therapy, getting stuff done), irritated at him over this DBT thing, hopeless, feeling like maybe he doesn't care like I thought he did because of a comment he made yesterday*, shame about a topic we discussed yesterday, feeling like giving up is the better option than all of the above.

* He indicated he would be okay if I went back to my husband if he had changed but we'd be talking about danger if he hadn't. I don't even know what to make of that thought. I guess I thought that he would actually have an opinion about that. How can you not have a negative opinion of me getting back together with him and profess to care about me at the same time. Not that I'm thinking of getting back with him. We were just discussing my fears that he could sweet-talk his way back into my life.

I know one of the pictures has me in there, I couldn't move away from the camera without scaring the heck out of Ebony though and with Ebony no longer being around, I can't get a better photo, thanks for saying anyways

Ive had three ts who have been in and out of marriages while i was seeing them, and while i had been aware of each to some extent, and you guys know me i am all about romantic transference, when it approaches reality like that, we will talk about it, but it becomes clear very quickly that whatever is going on in a ts life is totally unrelated to what is going on in my life, fantasy or reality. So never been a problem, but did provide more insights into my (messed up) self.

Some folks here have shared pictures of themselves. I just wanted to make sure you knew it was mixed in album. Very cute kitties.
