i dont know the cause of your pain, but you might try buying a contour back maxx bed wedge pillow...it puts your body in a zero gravity position when you sleep. i swear it works. i spent 11 months in excruciating pain seeing acupuncturists and chiropractors to no avail.

then i took a (expensive) risk and bought the bed wedge- pain went from a 20 to a 2 in just a few nights of sleeping on it. for the first year if i slept off it i was in pain again, but now i stopped using it and my pain didnt return, but I should probably go back to it to ensure the pain doesnt return.

its worth the $160, trust me.

also for pain; cbd oil works wonders. it will not get you high, it just aids in pain relief and will not interact with your warfarin.
Thanks for this!

Yes it does. I am waiting for a call from the vascular surgeon. I had blood tests to see if I can get off warfarin, and it's only 4 months! But I have to be on something else if I can. Maybe aspirin.

I am concerned that your fear of any physical sensation is causing your body to lock up and freeze, which intensifies and deepens the pain pattern. It seems to me that you find relief in singing, and sometimes comfort from your therapist, because you are actually having the experience of relaxation in those moments and your body is letting go of its death grip.
Yes! I think you're exactly right! I had a few acupuncture treatments and it hurt to lie down for them. They didn't seem to help much.

Thank you! I bought a "topper" for my bed which was only about $60. It doesn't help though. I will look up the bed wedge pillow. I have spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease.

The coumedan clinic said absolutely no CBD oil. When I get off the Warfarin, it's the first thing I'm going to try!

Today after PT I had one of those dizzy spells again. I ate lunch, got into bed, and listened to meditations for anxiety. Then I was able to drive to T! She still thinks I am having panic attacks but I never got dizzy from them, only shaky.

I stopped at the grocery store and was okay for awhile but then got dizzy again. I made it home but had to lie down again.

The unfortunate thing is that I CAN lie down, so either the PT or Savella is helping. But I can't tolerate sudden dizziness like that. I still feel bad and it's a few hours later!

Does the wedge make your bed like a lazy-boy? Maybe rainbow could try a lazyboy or zero gravity chair and see how they feel. I LOVED my ma's old vibrating and heat lazy boy chair. And it wasnt too expensive either, we got it off the floor on sale, took it home in her 4-door chevy impala and set it up ourselves. Of course im a computer genius so plugging it in wasnt too hard for me.
Thanks for this!

I just started taking metformin 500 mg and yeah i am dizzy now a lot. Dr google says it takes a month to get used to it, i wonder how long it takes to get used to get off of it? It seems i have to be VERY careful of what i eat. I have a few things i KNOW are okay, but if i get bored and try to expand my repertoire, i gotta watch out.
Thanks for this!

I took Metformin 500 mg for years and never got dizzy. So it seems like there's a few meds I can tolerate! Is it for prediabetes? That's why I took it. Why do you have to be careful what you eat?

I tried my friend's recliner and it hurt my legs. Haven't tried a 0 gravity chair though the chiropractor looked online with me and said it wouldn't help me.

I was planning to stop taking it because of that. My pdoc doesn't have many patients on it, the nurse said, since it's for fibromyalgia, not listed as an antidepressant. So you think the dizziness could go away when I increase the dose? I was thinking it would be worse! It hasn't helped my mood or my pain after 5 weeks!

no, it is not like a lazy boy. it puts your spine in a zero gravity position to relieve pressure which in turn alleviates pain from a number of back issues. if you buy it from hammacher schemmler you get a lifetime return if it doesnt happen to work for you.

i still dont know what was actually wrong with my back- they were guessing- but they said all my muscles are tense and in knots so that wasnt helping anything.

rainbow, i dont know if this has been suggested but its also possible the pain / dizziness is psychosomatic.

i had been having vision issues for over a year going from dr to dr to dr who all said my eyes were perfect before i realized i experienced the vision disturbances only when talking about or reliving my trauma experiences...

what are you doing when you are getting dizzy?

Panic attacks come in many forms, doesn't mean you aren't having them.

I'm off Warfarin as of today! Got to be on 81 mg aspirin daily instead! P-doc suggests staying on Savella though it's up to me. She thinks I'm a little better. I sat longer. I couldn't explain dizziness; she thinks it's anxiety. She
says I can try CBD oil. Maybe wait until I try to increase Savella though.

You are very right about that!
