So frustrated

So, I haven't been around much. I am having serious issues with anxiety(for sure) and depression(slightly, maybe). I see my therapist on Oct 16. I am on a search for a pdoc but not having much luck finding one I can afford without insurance. I thought I had found one but the rates are changing next month and it would cost prohibitive depending on how long the doc wants to see me. I am waiting on some replies from my therapist and a lady my mom knows to see who they refer to. This is so ridiculous. I can't stand being back in this crap again. I hate doctors and avoid them at all costs but I am at a point where functioning is getting difficult.

I'm sorry you are having a lot of problems with anxiety. It can be so hard to find a pdoc and without insurance it can be really difficult. Do you have any community mental health clinics near you? Sometimes they have pdocs on staff that you can see based on a sliding scale. Or can you consider going to a GP for meds?

Well, I have my appointment with an office very close by and they were able to get me in next week for my first appointment. YAY! Decided to see the PA we'll see how it goes. More to come after Tuesday.
