I wanted to share, that my t apologized and admitted that the way he handled him going out of country was not the best. Just for those doubters out there who think ts can’t see the error of their ways. Mine can, and has acknowledged when he has screwed up.. makes me not feel so silly about the whole being upset that he didn’t tell me.

While glad you are happier with the therapist - I still doubt. I doubt whether anyone else's experience with the one they hire would change how I view those people. I doubt the existence of god. I doubt whether the flu vaccine really works. I doubt that even a single therapist or other client capable of being harmed by my doubts over the efficacy of that profession. I doubt organic food makes any difference. I doubt modern medicine does much good at all and in fact believe quite strongly it can do great harm in a good number of instances. I sometimes doubt the world isn't flat.
I don't doubt therapists are master manipulators and actors.

Omg! We saw 2 cute little raccoons out tonight. I didn't even know we had raccoons! Feel bad because they were in a shopping center parking lot and will have to cross busy streets to get back to the wilderness.

My pcp gave me clearance to start fertility treatment! 2 doctors down 5 to go. She wants me to try to get off any meds if possible. I told her that if I got off all my meds, they'd have to hospitalize me.

I also quit smoking today. The fertility doctor said I have to be off cigarettes for minimum a month before we can start treatment.

I was on a higher dose previously and I know it has a higher elimination half life of around 10-12 hours. I wouldn't take it right when I wanted to go bed, but 2-3 hours before. Maybe that would help?

But even with perhaps try to tapper off gradually.

I would have a very strong reaction in that situation and don't think any subsequent feelings would be silly. I'm glad he apologized to you.

I've never seen a racoon. Don't even know if we get them in the UK.

Congrats on stopping the smoking!

Which other doctors are left on the list ?

I emailed R asking for sessions every other week and I'm down 5.3lbs since I started running again.

Current book I'm reading is memoirs of a Geisha.

Plan of the day: shower and go down to the library to study.

I don’t think that I or anyone else for that matter could change your mind.. but... I am training to be a t and none of the training so far as been in manipulation 🤷🏻*♀️

I have taken, through my university, a good number (all but the going out and screwing with clients part) of graduate classes in order to figure out what was supposed to be going on. I saw manipulation being taught to therapist-want-to-be's all over the place. I don't know if the people who were there because they actually wanted to do therapy at people for a living would have necessarily viewed it the same way.
I see it more and find those people more openly admitting it when I am doing my job as a lawyer trying to protect my clients from them.
But I doubt I will change your mind either.

Nothing comes between me and my vaccines! I got my first dose of the new 2-dose shingles vaccine on tuesday, and my left arm is a ball of fire. Ibuprophen last night helped a lot. I have the flu vaccine in the right arm, and that is a walk in the park compared to the other. But im okay!

Ummm what page are you on with your copy of fifty shades of grey?!

I'm on chapter 29! I really like it and would recommend it.I didn't know of the history- I'm an expert having also watched one youtube documentry.

The movie was beautifully filmed and it's made me want to watch it again. The actress Zhang Ziyi who plays Chiyo is soooooooooo beautiful.

I've also started the 48 laws of power by Robert Green which I've finished before.

Did you have one after the other? I've always thought you had to have a slight gap.

Triggers can be horrible when they're unexpected.

It's a book I've actually never read. But I saw the movie when it came out on Valentines day. The soundtrack was the best thing about it.
