I did not know about the harry potter quizzes. I went and did some. Ravenclaw every time.

I’m always Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I prefer Ravenclaw.

A student is emailing me who has their name sent to “I” (their first initial). So when I respond, the thread is titled “I, me.” Very existential-thought-provoking.

I am also in Ravenclaw.

Lemon, The Witch Elm was good. I like Tana French. Her first novel was brilliant.
And, I really need to just suck it up and paint the darn bedroom. I just hate painting. I need to find a friend who hates baking and trade food for painting.

If your therapist had a patronus, what would it be?

Info, I’m going with magpie. SHINY.

R's would be a deer and not a stag.

Mine would probably be a cow.

The first? probably sea anemone. I don't know about the second.

Leopard? That's the first thing that came to mind. Or maybe zebra, since he has a shirt with zebras on it. Some sort of patterned African mammal...He's always wearing shirts and socks with patterns on them. But not a giraffe, as he's fairly short.

A whole shirt with zebras on it? Not just a tie or socks, a whole shirt?

I thought he dressed better than MC? Another illusion shattered.

I can't remember anything specific that either of them wore. I have no idea if they wore the same thing more than once - I mean it is certainly probable. I just don't know.

Yeah, but it's like little tiny zebras on a black background. I actually really like that shirt--he seems to be in a good mood when he wears it. And he dresses better than ex-MC, trust me. His clothing actually fits him correctly (no David Byrne suit jackets) and his shoes aren't falling apart. And he's not wearing polo shirts that look about 10 years old. It's a pretty low bar to cross, I suppose...But he tends to look pulled together and fashionable.

Info’s been dressing a lot better lately. Like, “mature professional woman in her 60’s” level. It makes me feel more comfortable for some reason.

I think my therapist's patronus would be a crow. I told her that's an image I have of her as a therapist, as a crow picking at a pile of sticks. She even showed up in my dreams as a crow once.

I guess last time she was wearing a very tight-fitting floral bodice.

My cat just brought a little mouse in, I heard it squeaking and managed to catch it and release it outside. One very lucky mouse, one very grumpy cat and one very happy human.
