I woke up at 5 but was back asleep by 8. I'm grudgingly up now because I'm going to get a haircut. Bah humbug.

I like getting my hair cut - very immediate gratification for me.
Perhaps a nap later today?

I grew my hair out from a very short pixie. That was no easy task.
Thanks for this!

I'm wearing a pixie now for almost 2 years, it's impossible for me to grow it out, I just love it short.

Mine was super short too. It feels like it's taking forever to grow out.

I hate the usps. I have a package that is supposed to arrive today and it requires a signature. The postal person came, had the package, I was waiting and ready, but she forgot the form she needed -so I saw the package but don't have the package because she did not have the ****ing form. She said she would be right back an hour ago.
It makes me ansy because I am still waiting but wanted to get on with my day.

It took me a good 2 years with little trims here and there to grow it out.

I plan on getting a crew cut once I retire.

Postal employees are ****ing morons
They are morons. I didn’t get my mail for 3 days in a row because the postal employee could not find where my address was on my house. There are big numbers right on the side. She didn’t see them.

Why do you have to wait until you retire?

I loved my pixie but then I gained weight-my face got fat and it no longer looked good-so I grew it out.
Thanks for this!

I'm very overweight but it's more flattering on me than my previous go-to ponytail with no bangs. I'd like to grow it back around jaw length and stack the back, once I get tired of it I might.
Thanks for this!

Mine after 2 years sits on my shoulders. But when I was growing it out I got very slight trims every few months to make it more manageable as it was growing out.

I love to have short hair! I was forced to keep it long until I left my parent's home.

That's what I have: an A-line cut. I love it because it frames my face, but no hair is on my neck. I used to always put my hair back in a ponytail, but now I can keep it down.

Because I am in a conservative field at at conservative university in a conservative part of the united states, and people would assume I was ill. I am not avant guard at all nor nearly eccentric enough in the right way to pull it off.
Not the worst thing one might have to deal with, but something I am willing to keep my hair short but not shaved to avoid. My choice.

And happily my package did come back and I have it. I edited my earlier rant.

I wore my hair long for years because the kids’ dad liked it better that way. When I got it cut super short, the hair gal was nervous. She kept saying, “Are you sure?” I finally told her I needed a big change, and she could shave my head and paint it purple, and I’d still be happy. (She didn’t.) But the length went from mid-back to just below my chin. Easier to care for and more flattering for my face.

When I came home with it short, I still remember the shocked look on the kids’ dad’s face.

Looking back, that was right about the time I started rocking the boat instead of sitting still like I was supposed to. I suppose the haircut was part of that even though I didn’t recognize it at the time.

The mailman just came to my door with a package. The dog sounded like he wanted to eat the mailman.

The mailman just laughs because he knows the dog just sounds scary, and when I tell the dog to knock it off he gets a goofy embarrassed doggie look on his face.

My daughter (10) has had her hair cut short. A lot of people think she's a boy but she doesn't care. I take her to the barber's and just don't use any pronouns, it's cheaper and you don't need an appointment. And she's happy.
Her dad isn't a big fan, but he doesn't take her to get her hair cut so it's tough. I've had to remind him a couple of times whose hair it is.
