Im getting a haircut this afternoon then picking up meds. Tuesday used to be t day. I will be like a block away from ts office. But he will probably be napping at that time, just as if i were there

Well I woke up today and everything is fine. So yesterday's scare must have just been a hallucination. I see PDOC in four or five weeks so I'll bring it up to him. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. I wish I had my former T. She would have been much more helpful/calming/soothing about it than new T. I thought my meds were working fine but I guess they can't block everything. I'm trying to keep the anxiety down to a minimum today. I thought hard about calling into work but I didn't because it's payroll processing day and I usually do that task. It's hard for someone else to step in and do it when they aren't used to doing it. It's actually one of my favorite tasks. Besides I might get distracted and that may help the anxiety stay down to a minimum? I hope. Thanks for the hugs yesterday everyone. Kit.

Belle is on a special diet now.She got up to 6kg. At her appointment in august. The vet asked what she ate. After he said the standard cat food.She asked what else. Then he said she liked toast, cheese and pizza.

Perhaps you could try swimming for the knee? Gentle exercise with less stress placed on it. I hate being late for anything.Maybe leaving a little bit earlier might help.

My hair turned out super cute. I didnt like what she did at first so sshe recut it. Its now an upside down artichoke. At first i looked like siskel and ebert, the fat one. I can never remember which is which, but he was in the mirror looking back at me!!

Autumn has come to So. Cal. It is the first day I have actually had to turn on my space heater at work. It's cold today (relatively). I should have brought a sweatshirt. I debated this morning and then left it at home. The fact that it is getting colder is making me happy. I love sweater, scarf, beanie season. Kit.

We finally have fall weather in my areas as well. It’s been between mid 50’s- mid 60’s since Friday. Love it. I don’t do well with heat so this is perfect for me.

Grrr. Had a psychiatrist appointment this afternoon. Or not.

I got a letter from the then psychiatrist of the practice (it has therapists and NPs too) maybe six weeks ago saying he was leaving. The three NPs would take clients until he returned or a replacement was hired. Nowhere does it say “all future appointments with me will be canceled unless you contact us,” which is what the receptionist claimed it said. Fortunately I had the letter with me.

So no appointment. We jawed back and forth over the letter but it was only when I pointed out I had experience complaining about psychiatrists to the state medical board and would be happy to do so again that I magically had an appointment with the new psychiatrist next week.

What is wrong with psychiatrists anyway? Well, at least I didn’t go too far out of my way home and maybe this will give me the impetus to get off meds by myself. I’m going to drop my dose of Pristiq in half tomorrow.

And now I wonder why the former psychiatrist left so suddenly.
