But there's also the fact that I get a set amount each month because of my grandmother. Her being sick makes me realize I can't keep spending the same way that I do. I really don't want to live at home after I graduate, whilst I have some savings (around £4.6k) it's not really enough for a deposit .

I don't see how you're being passive-aggressive (or hostile for that matter)--she's the one who's just ignoring your email expressing what you were feeling.

So my son's echocardiogram is scheduled for Friday morning. And h goes in a week from today for his cat scan. I have just been subconsciously eating my worry about both of them up until today but now I'm worrying more consciously again... I'm glad I see t tomorrow so I can talk to her about it and not get them all worried about me worrying about them. I'm mostcworried about son. 19 is too young to have to see a heart Dr.

That sounds like an awful lot to deal with Artie. Will you be going with your son to his appointment? Has he had any other symptoms?

I had to see a heart doctor when I was 21 and ended up being fine, hopefully your son is too.

Thanks Lemoncake. I offered to go with him but he said no. I imagine he will take his gf with him. He gets migraines but I don't know if that has anything to do w this or not.

Thanks butterfly, my brother had the same thing when he was son's age. I hadn't known that until recently and he's been fine too. It's just, well, my baby!!

It could be due to migraines. I had to do an echocardiogram a few years back after taking preventative migraine medication which I didn't end up being able to tolerate anyway. I hope everything goes okay and turns out okay. ((hugs))

And then I thought about pigging out for the rest of the day, but talked myself out of it because I've been doing so well for 4 weeks. Work was so annoying today! Too many people wanting to micromanage. If people would just mind their business and worry about their own job then things would go a lot smoother. I had to tell one person to back the F off. It worked. He didn’t bother me after that. I’m so over this day. And I’m sweating because it’s over 80 degrees in my part of the world and it’s supposed to be fall. I don’t do well in hot weather. I’m so over this week. Let’s go Friday!

I hear you about work...I can empathize. I had a cost accounting meeting today where it was basically decided that we could guess at the material cost and just go with that and as long as its within a 5 to 10 % error margin all will be fine. Eye roll. That's not how it's done. But the other departments don't have time to fill out the paperwork blah blah blah. Then why even bother if it's not going to be done right? Yeah, I know there is time costs in entering the material used, and the 5 to 10 % will probably all come out in the wash, but it just seems so pointless if we are just going to guess. Makes me feel somewhat useless. I'm lame and I like cost accounting so......I feel like what I do doesn't matter. Of course, there's other aspects to my job that I can try to find value in. But yeah, lets just guess. Right. (Sarcasm). Kit.

On the other hand, my class that I taught went well last night. It's a religious class, not like a uni class or anything. But it went well. I didn't know I was going to teach until yesterday so I didn't have a lot of time to prepare but it came together and it was material I was very familiar with so I guess I'm lucky. And I managed to get it done in the time frame allowed. Yeah! Kit.

Oh I so hear you! I had an issue today where they wanted me to put down a value for product going to a customer overseas. “Oh since we can’t get in touch with our customer here in the US, I should just base the costs of product off the previous order” Why so this crap can come back in a month to bite me on the ***? No. I think not. We will wait for our customer here in the US to get in touch with their people overseas to see exactly what they want. We are talking about shipping whole container loads of chemicals overseas. It’s not like somebody is purchasing a handbag from amazon. Morons.
