Grits are always disgusting.
Crispy bacon is far superior to floppy.

Change my mind.
Thanks for this!

Eat it any way you want as long as you don’t try to make others do it the same way.

I would rather have my grits crispy than my bacon. Fried grits are tasty

I'm sure if I'd ever had grits cooked well I wouldn't hate them, but wouldn't like them either. It's a texture thing to me. Same reason I hate quinoa.

Thank you. I'm so glad that I found my T and how supportive he's being. I'm just a complete wreck.

Thank you. It's so so awful and I haven't been able to get it off my mind. They lived so close to me and I drive by their apartment complex all the time. I have pictures of both him and her on my phone together. Its heartbreaking.

Good morning, couch. Just wanted to drop by and say hello, overtime at work is still continuing and relentless and now it looks like it won't be letting up until the end of January, so I won't be around much still! I'm working 58 hour weeks right now plus school so I am pooped. 2 more weeks of Psych Stats then I get a little breather from school anyway.

My son is moving out in a week, lots of feelings about that that I hadn't been letting myself feel but finally am.

Anyway. I am sending out hugs to those who want 'em and the standard head nods in the direction of those who don't. I'm only working 8 hours today so maybe I'll spend some time catching up here after I get off work. At least working at home makes all these hours a lot more comfortable!!

Your son is moving out? Did I miss that when I was away? Is he moving in with the girlfriend?

hi Jersey! I've been on a break from PC so probably hadn't mentioned it yet. No, he's moving to an apartment by himself, at least this is the info I have been told. It's pretty small (500 sq ft) so I can't imagine 2 of them living there! I imagine she'll be all but living there even still. His room is a mess of half-packed boxes everywhere right now...

500 sq ft...is pretty tiny. Come talk to us when you are ready.

There that's better. That other username was supposed to have been deleted a long time ago. Wonder why it resurrected on my phone. Huh.

Thanks gremlins! Hey, art, my oldest moved out too. I think I know the range of emotions you're going through. (((Art)))

Thanks. I figure I'm getting it kinda double since as my only, it's both my oldest and youngest all rolled into one. Or something. At least that's my rationale. But he's 20 and about to get his AA and he makes more money than I do so....

Your back to ArtieSwimsOn...
I’m a little behind on responding as I’m trying to organize my basement.

As I’m cleaning out my basement I found that my husband has all his Warhammer stuff from when he was a kid. He’s 50 now...so I would like to find out if those things are worth any money because we could sure use the money.
Thanks for this!

Then it sounds like it’s time Art. Though that’s easy for me to say since I don’t have any kids..
