I made a low carb tortilla pizza last night for dinner. Was actually really good and only 12 net carbs! My dad and H even liked it, though my H wanted more food later. Guess it was too small of a portion for him...

I woke up from my nap earlier with a sore throat, and I've drank 2 big glasses of orange juice since then and I'm too full to eat dinner otherwise I'd make a cheese pizza! I know I slept a lot the past couple days but I'm thinking about going to bed early and try to get rid of the sore throat. I don't want to get sick now... still have another month or two of overtime to go... this 5 day weekend I just had was supposed to keep me from getting sick, but it looks like I am anyway dang it!! oh well.

Another example of why SM should not be left in charge. It's taco Tuesday and I ran out of sour cream, salsa, AND shredded cheese. Started out with no tortillas and no taco shells because I'm low carb. The lettuce is brown and wilted so my taco salad is now a bowl of meat sparingly sprinkled with the minute amount of cheese and salsa that was left after the little got fed.

Should have made cheeseburgers smh.

Oh and while I was on my little getaway, h had his buddy paint son's old room and now he's turning it into a library as soon as the paint is dry. I hate it being so empty and echo-y. It reminds me that he's gone. I'm not sure how it being a library won't remind me that he's gone too, but... at least that will be better than it being empty.

If it helps, this was rather mediocre, yet cheap, Costco cheese pizza that I doctored up with various herbs/spices.

So I requested more info about the Master's program in Psychology from the local university. Found out from them today that I need a 3.0 gpa which I don't have but they said I should continue with the classes I'm taking now at the community college and hopefully keep a 4.0 gpa and bring my cumulative gpa up to 3.0 and then apply at that point. By that time I'll have an AA in Psych I suppose.

(I did not do well in college as a young person.)

I had Dominoes tonight. I just couldn't face the idea of cooking

I had some time off work and used it to scrub the house all over. It was my choice to do that and I'm glad I did

My T talked about how in an ideal world, she would like me to go to an inpatient program longer than 2 weeks, at least 3 months. too bad we don't live in an ideal world, not to mention i can't believe i need that type of care. i'm still working, arent i?
(though its become more and more difficult to go)

I had my gp appt today. It wasnt miserable. Or rather, i wasnt miserable. Usually its so physically taxing that i take months to recuperate psychologically. Like why cant i protect myself?

So what i did better this time was: i didnt fast (screw them). I rented a car overnight so all i had to do this morning was go out to the parking lot here - no hiking up the hill to the bus stop and worrying about being late. Then i had fruit in the car for the trip home (so no mcdonalds - didnt even appeal to me), picked up my new prescriptions, dropped off the rental car, and got right on the bus for home, no waiting around freezing! Came home, had some tomato soup and took a quick nap.

I was always telling t, i cant take care of myself. All this felt soooo luxurious.

I feel like I'm about to have a breakdown. Everything makes me cry and it feels like there's a pressure in my chest. I wish I could just go to session tomorrow and lose it in front of him so he'll know.

My husband bought me a "Ugly sweater" yesterday at the store that lights up with a snowman that says I'm having a meltdown. Seems fitting for my mental health the last few weeks.

Did manage to go to my mom's this weekend. Haven't really talked to her since the whole murder thing happened and the funeral so it was nice to see her. She took me shopping to buy my boys Christmas presents and she paid for it all. That's never happened so it was very nice and appreciated....saved us a few hundred dollars. Only have to do stocking stuffers and then we're completely done.

I'm sorry you're struggling so much right now NP. It's harder to keep it together when you're really not well. Can you take 5 mins out for yourself today or reach out to T if you need to?

My favorite line from the movie Frozen is "some people are worth melting for" which would be better than having a melt down. You don't have to wear the sweater if you don't want to.
