I rented a car overnight so all i had to do this morning was go out to the parking lot here - no hiking up the hill to the bus stop and worrying about being late. Then i had fruit in the car for the trip home (so no mcdonalds - didnt even appeal to me), picked up my new prescriptions, dropped off the rental car, and got right on the bus for home, no waiting around freezing! Came home, had some tomato soup and took a quick nap.

I was always telling t, i cant take care of myself. All this felt soooo luxurious.
Yay! Go you! Well done for doing the small things which added up well!

By that time I'll have an AA in Psych I suppose.
That sounds like a really good plan, know you'll get there!

Sometimes I hesitate to say anything here because I know most people see their therapist once a week. But this week I'm only seeing mine twice and next week it's only twice and then he's gone the week of Christmas. I have to take the week of Christmas off of work because the office is closed and I'm really dreading that time off, even more so because there's no meeting with him to break the time up. I'm a really lonely and isolated person and these things are hard on me. We meet tomorrow and I just hope I can cry with him.

Part of me wants to return it because it cost $20 and I could use that money for something else. The other part thinks it's hilarious..if I can't laugh at myself, what do I have left? I also thought of wearing it to Ts office one day for a laugh.

So many things for stockings. Candy canes, candy, hair bows, a unicorn necklace, Minecraft stuffed animal, scented stress plush animal, socks, Pokemon cards...all spread out amongst 4 kids but you get the picture. :-)

Treacle is perjurative the way we use it- like blech that was sappy. However, in my part of the country, it is also used for anti-venom/ anti -poison remedy like if your dog gets bitten by a snake or eats a poison mushroom. Not sure why(?).

Yeah it's used metaphorically here in the same way. It came up a while ago because my T said it felt like we were walking through treacle. But he meant it like we were being hampered and making slow progress, like swimming against the tide or running against the wind.

Don't think twice NP, it's quite alright and I honestly do get it. Yes some may only see their T once a week but that's what works for them at that time. I've been on twice a week for most of the time I've seen R- but when I saw him x3 I found it a huge difference and would ideally like to stay with that frequency. But I pay for sessions out of pocket and I'm now mainly on one session because I wanted to save some money.

Would you be open to volunteering at a charity? They always need the extra help and it could be for example at a food bank. Or perhaps sign yourself up for a few treats like a massage or plan a day trip to break the week up.

You generally can't get it wrong and if you do it wouldn't really matter.

Themes can be anything you want, a song you have playing in the background, or even something someone said. Current thread was in SD's honor.

Doooooo it and see if they notice! I wore a T shirt that had Mr happy on it in session - just to be funny. It was also bright yellow too! And I have another Mr Men shirt that said give us a smile which I wore to my first psych appointment.

Oooo I think I would have loved the idea of stockings as a child and even now.I saw some handmade ones on instagram that I loved.

This cold is kicking my butt. My throat is raw and sore I keep sneezing and my ears keep crackling and I keep nodding off while trying to work. Dang it. I need to go buy some cold medicine on lunch. At least we have a team meeting today assuming I can stay awake for that. Haha.

New job and I already am miserable. They messed up my schedule and want me working today and tomorrow, tomorrow is my last T day. I'm mentally not able to work and learn a new job. I am so angry and it lead to a massive blow up with my mom. Glad to see she still hates me.

Just terrible timing, adding more stress to things for me. I need to stop applying for jobs, I don't think I am good at public jobs anymore. People are too much for me

It's a paradigm change.

I have several different types of molasses (including lyle's treacle), some lyle's golden syrup, and both dark and light karo syrup in my cupboards all the time.
Sometimes I put a teaspoon of molasses in my coffee. I think it is good and although I usually don't like sweet coffee, the molasses lends a darker depth to it.

My diet works xD . The word paradigm brings up images of the speaker Bob proctor- you have to change the way you view yourself and all that jazz. But it's mainly about starting something sustainable you can keep up with in the long term.
