I found this and since there a few others going through this, I thought I would share.
I am still trying to figure out what is "normal" when it comes to the death of a therapist. I could have written this article. Reading through I found the only thing that was different for me is that my T didnt die of cancer The death of a therapist, coach or mentor - how to cope. - Karin Sieger : Therapist & Writer __________________ |

I think writing a letter is a good idea. You can do it for any loved one you have lost.

I read that before my therapist died. I started writing him a letter. But I never finished it and never gave it to him (because we never had our last in-person session and, for some reason, I thought sending him a letter in the end would be too much of a burden for him. It doesn't make sense to me now, and I wish I had sent him a letter.)
