Shocker.

It's my usual Christmas Eve viewing. Well, like the second half. The first part is incredibly boring. I'm flipping back and forth between that and a not-very-good football game now that I'm back from my in-laws. I think I got through that fairly well.

I couldn't get past the first half hour, I thought it was so boring. I never understood the hype

It’s not my favorite movie of that era, and it’s not Capra’s best film, but I love the scenes between Jimmy Stewart and Lionel Barrymore. Two very great actors.

I hear my neighbors screaming at each other. It wouldn't be Christmas Eve without one CDV.

My buzz wore off and now I’m incredibly upset again.
I think I’m just going to go lay in bed and stay there until I have to go to work Wednesday.

I love how his seat is so much higher than George's--great bits of acting in that scene where George is considering selling out to the dark side.

I watched 3 Christmas movies tonight and I'm still depressed. I think I officially hate Christmas for life

I miss my dog and T so much.... it's seriously depressing. Especially knowing that T is all chummy and happy with the people he works with and used to work with etc.... I wish I was good enough for a holiday greeting.

I will just have to mentally check out tomorrow to get through the annoyance of being around my family all day.

Xmas/holidays are stressful. I can see where people lose it at times. But I also believe in giving children baby motrin or whatever to drug them out before you want to strangle them -so there is that.
I have less trouble with parents who yell at the children than I do with the parents who think their kid is super special and lets the kid annoy everyone else around. I wanted to yell at the parent who was holding up the check out line by letting her whiny kid put the items on the conveyer belt.

I am now playing jeopardy on the nintendo. Much better for me except that the categories thus far have been hockey, pop music and fashion = not my best categories. Luckily my ai opponents are arrogant in their betting.

I mean I guess I could bring food to my buddies who are working? Though I have a cold so I don't know if anyone wants to eat anything I've touched. (Then again, I caught the damn cold from my fellow residents so it's not like I'm patient zero here...)

I feel kind of pathetic tbh
Stay in bed and catch up on your favorite tv show?

How many days have you had your cold for now? If you want to see your friends I wouldn't see anything wrong with bringing them prewrapped store stuff.

I live in a huge house with my grandparents and my aunt. She's inviting my other cousins and is cooking for everyone. I don't see the point in pretending to be a happy family. I expect drama and a ton of it. I've just decided to stay in my brothers room pretty much the whole day. My heads a bit messed up, but i'm studying in blocks of 25mins and so far i've already done an hour and it's not even 9am yet.

Props still on the 10th and pharma on the 22nd.

Do you have any plans for the day Whisper?

I just put overnight cinnamon rolls in the fridge, finished filling the stockings, put the last of the gifts under the tree, and (most importantly!) set the coffee pot for early-o'clock. The youngest always sets his alarm and wakes the rest of us up.

Merry whatever to those who celebrate this season, wishes for peace and rest for those who don't, and hugs for those who find this time difficult. (As a holiday gift to stopdog, I am not adding a pulsing heart thingie or any other emoji. You all can imagine whichever is your favorite here: )

It’s been about a week and I’m definitely on the upswing but I still sound cruddy. The trouble is that I didn’t have enough warning about the day off to prepare and buy snackage.

I think I’ll just bake, and wear a face mask / wash the daylights out of my hands while I’m doing it
