Yup. All cats do.

She's so pretty!

Also, my T was wearing (new?) cat socks today! Like with big cat faces on them (like, drawn/cartoon faces, not photos of a cat).

She's gorgeous, Kit.

I started coughing in earnest this morning, Cake. Woke myself up choking on thin air, and couldn't stop. Found some Ribotussin cough syrup, which seems to be more effective than Benilyn, but when it wears off, geez...

I am finding my Amazon Echo very useful. It was a Christmas gift. So far, I have set my journalling timer without leaving my journalling chair, found a couple of quizzes (good distraction technique) and set up music and alarms.

I'm trying to decide if I should tell my therapist I know he was out of the country and to charge me for any phone charges or to let it go and trust that if he wanted to be reimbursed he could ask me to do so. I'm leaning towards the first option because we talked about twice as long as we usually do on both phone calls, about 18 minutes each call. But, as Lemoncake pointed out, he might have been using VOIP or something that doesn't have a per minute rate and I'd just be bringing it up unnecessarily. We meet tomorrow and I'm supposed to email him beforehand so I need to decide soon.

I would let it go and trust that if he wanted to be reimbursed he would let you know, but that's just my two cents for what it is worth. My former T was always telling me to trust her to take care of herself so that is what I am thinking of. Kit

If it was an issue to him, I imagine he’d have said something beforehand. But if it would make you feel better, bring it up. Especially as I think you said his one call showed El Salvador? Still as others have said, there are ways to communicate inexpensively internationally.

Previously he's told me he's going to be out of the country and won't be able to talk by phone. That leaves me wondering what's different this time and I have a feeling it's me. He knows I'm struggling right now and probably wanted to be available by phone. It just makes me feel bad not knowing whether he had to fork over money to call me. I want him to be reimbursed for his time and expenses if necessary. On the other hand, I have a real hard time accepting help and that may be coming in to play in this situation.

At some point I need to start reading papers from fall because they use the same paper as a start to their capstone project in spring. But I'm not in the mood yet.

Just waiting for my oncology appointment on January 7. Made it through Christmas.

Ended up in the ER for my asthma last night. This was the first time I felt the staff were annoyed with me for coming in. Not a good experience but usually they tell me I waited too long to come in.

How long have other peoples t waited to bring up a subject like shame? I justt realised my t waited 8 years for maybe me to bring it up. He used to try to push me on things but it used make me really unstable so now he waits i think. I wonder what else he wants to bring up, he did mutter something sbout attachment i think.

My cat has been missing for over a week now. His littermate wanders around all night crying and sleeps on my head now, which is annoying as he kneads my hair and somehow it gets tangled in his claws and tries to groom me. It is soo gross to wake up inthe middle of the night with cat slobber on your cheek.

Peaches the puppy. She's doing better. Is running around and playing. She still has 3 more weeks until x-rays.

And the blanket I'm making for my new niece.

I dont know if i should drive my car, i tried to go out last night but i heard ticking noises so i turned around and went home. I dont think there is anything under the boot i did tie up the indicator light that had fallen out and was dragging on the ground. I am trying not to think too much about it.
