Ok so NYE this co worker "asked me out" in the sense that he wanted to celebrate NYE with me BUT I turned him down due to terrible roads with our snowstorm. We rescheduled for today but it was also my siblings birthday so we agreed to meet at a mall this evening but my stupid self didn't realize prior that it closed early....I suggested coffee or dinner and he said no. He wanted the mall or my place... which I'm not comfortable with someone I barely know coming over..... anyway...I'm not into him at all, he's younger than me and I don't want young guys. However, I'm open to friends, even though I'm not seeking friends, it's fine to have a work friend or whatever.....

I'm just unsure if, especially because he refused the coffee/dinner ideas, if he is just hoping for a hook up. That's also not something I'm comfortable with. I don't wanna judge him too much, he's a bit of a weird dude from the 1 time we talked but I mean.... he could just be awkward etc.... BUT I don't want to get myself into this and him only have hook up in mind

So, is it rude to outright ask if that's his intention? I don't have much experience with this stuff so idk. Also if it's ok to ask, what's a good way to ask

We work together but not in the same area so its' not a awkward thing if we are not talking, I am a cashier, he's in a whole different department. We only met because we trained together

Anyway.... ya I'm starting to think he's only into one thing, which I am sadly not, especially with a younger man I'm not interested in.... so should I ask or not?

I got stupid H sick! Now he's being a big baby and a pain in the ***! He wants to go out Lyft'ing tonight, so he's going to buy masks. I wouldn't want to be in the car with someone wearing a mask. On top of that, he thinks my dad is the one who got us all sick. It's always my dad, his dog, my sister, or my niece who are to blame. According to my Pdoc, the cold is going around right now. So to blame anyone is just stupid. Oh! And he's complaining because he can't take any cold meds because of the prescription meds he's on.

I had microwaved lasagne for lunch and dinner. I think I'm failing at life. I can't do keto though. It makes it impossible to keep up my workouts. But that doesn't mean I should just eat complete crap all day.

I'm super upset with myself today. H and I drank last night.

Can we eat romaine again? Has it come off the shyte list? LOL literally!

I'm home from a visit to my oldest's, dropping off the little to stay until Friday night. It's completely strange being home alone. I have to go back to work tomorrow, the idyll is over. Have a good night couch!

Nightmare

I am not drunk, but somewhere along the way.

It might have something to do with forgetting my meds the past couple days and so being In a State.

Unpleasant. I makes me wonder if he is being honest with you. That sort of complaint usually comes from guilt.

It's snowing again and we have more

Lyft and Uber are US cab companies, driven by ordinary folk.

They’re not “cabs,” unfortunately—they take business away from real cabbies who have had to go through the licensing process and pay the costs and time involved (in NYC a taxi medallion can cost up to 200K—down from a million a few years back thanks to Uber and Lyft). It’s completely unfair to the cabbies, many of whom are immigrants (and ordinary folk) trying to make a living in a new land.

And Uber has hired criminals because they don’t do background checks. Some of those have attacked their customers. Nor can Uber develop a self-driving car without hiring a criminal who failed to keep a car from killing a pedestrian, or keep their board from sexually harassing employees.

I refuse to use either company for those reasons. Sorry for the rant, but this is an issue that really bugs me.

(Also not aimed at anyone here. It’s the companies I loathe, not individuals.)
